The apartment is in the quiet, secure community of Albamar, with beautifully maintained gardens. Three swimming pools are within 2 minutes walk. Beach is 10 minutes walk. The community has it's own bar serving drinks, refreshments and local food.

The apartment has two en suite bedrooms. One has a bathroom and balcony over-looking the gardens. The other has a shower room.

The kitchen is well equipped with fridge-freezer, washing machine, oven, hob, kettle, microwave, and all the plates, cutlery, pots and cooking pans you will need.

The lounge/dining room has a table to seat 6, 2 sofas, a large internet enabled smart LCD TV with over 100 channels, speakers for phones/tablets/laptops, and doors to the patio. An unlimited fast fibre internet connection and WiFi cover all your internet needs.

The patio has a table and four chairs for you to enjoy dining al fresco, as well as a sun-shade to keep you cool if required.

Only 2 or 3 minutes walk away there is a selection of bars and restaurants, as well as a beauty salon, supermarket and newsagent. Ten minutes walk takes you to the beach, and a further selection of bars and restaurants, and a larger supermarket.

Fuengirola and Marbella are a short drive away, both providing excellent opportunities for shopping, dining, entertainment and night life. Fifteen minutes away is the exclusive port, marina and beach of Cabapino. Puerto Banus is a little further and is a must for admiring luxury yachts, super cars, and boutique shopping.

For family fun, a water park is only 10 minutes away in Fuengirola and several zoos and aquariums are in the area. Dolphin watching can also be enjoyed nearby.

Further afield are the delightful sights of Mijas village high up in the hills, Rhonda and Coin, and even Seville. Gibraltar is under an hour drive, as is the ferry port if you wish to visit Tangiers in North Africa.

There are numerous golf courses in the area, including the exclusive Valderrama, venue for the Ryder Cup and Volvo Opens.

As a family we have been enjoying holidays in this apartment and in the area for over 15 years. Our two sons love staying here, and with plenty to do to keep them occupied, so do we!

Being within a secure community provides that peace of mind for families. The landscaped gardens provide a haven of tranquillity, whilst not far outside are bars, restaurants, shops and the beach.

Perfectly suited to our needs

The apartment and facilities available at the complex were ideal for us.

Two adults, one 5 year old and two teenagers.

The apartment was clean and well maintained with adequate space for us all. Wifi and satellite TV were a real bonus (especially for the teenagers).

The pools and bar area were never overcrowded and were just a few steps away through the perfectly kept garden.

Just next to the grounds are a number of very good quality restaurants and a very well stocked supermarket.

We hired a car so that we could explore the area but beaches and buses are within walking distance so transport was not an issue.

Overall the apartment exceeded our expectation's.

Great stay in Spain

We stayed for ten days and we really enjoyed our time there! The apartment was lovely and very neat and very well equipped! The area was very quiet. Richard had arranger an extra bed for our youngest son so our three boys aged 4,6,8, slept together in one bedroom and we parents on another room.

The pool area couldn´t be better for staying with little childern. It was close, maby just 50m from the back door. Kids pool 20 to 40cm deep and bigger pool 120cm from the lower end. Pools were next to each other. There was also another pool close by but taht was just a deeper one.

Tere were some nice restauranges just a walking distanse and a supermarket. I would say a car is necesseary at least when there is children with you. It´s very easy to get to the centrum and shopping mals by car and won´t take long. There was always a free parking space just in front of the apartment.

Richard was very helpfull with all the questions we had and Jon as well! We would warmly recommend this apartment and would love to stay there again next time when travelling to Malaga.

Lovely relaxing week

Retuned from a weeks holiday on Saturday 22 July.

The apartment is well equipped and comfortable and about 20 yards from the pool.

The complex looks a little tired in places but the pools were fabulous and ideal for a 6 and 3 yr old. At the start of the holiday the 6 yr old was too nervous to go in without arm bands, but by the end he swam a length by himself.

The restaurants near the top of the complex are really good and not over priced, and neither was the supermarket, no need for a car here.

It's also in walking distance of Miraflrores golf course, so managed a couple of games.

Only downside was lack of AC, fans in the rooms were ok, but it was very humid at times so a bit uncomfortable.

also wouldn't recommend this property to under 3's due to stairs.

Lovely property, great resort...

We loved this resort, it had everything we needed and was beautifully maintained and so friendly. The swimming pools especially were a treat - perfect size and temperature, and clean and quiet. We had a very relaxing, laid back holiday. We especially enjoyed the walk along the boardwalk to La Cala, where the beaches are wonderful. The apartment itself was almost perfect, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. It was very hot while we were there, and at times during the first couple of days, the ceiling fans weren't quite enough, but we soon learned that rolling out the awnings kept a lot of the heat out of the place. Would definitely return.

Brilliant.

We have just returned after 17days in Richards apartment. We found it very clean and extremely well equipped. The location was ideal. We love the beach which was easily accessible but being so close to pools and a bar which serves food was perfect when our granddaughter spent two days with us. We were so lucky finding this apartment and having amazing weather. Thank you Richard.
