About Randy and Julie
We have enjoyed hosting hundreds of guests on Bull Shoals Lake for 8 years now. Please visit the listing #244380 to see how our accommodations have received a 5 star rating the entire 8 years. We take our guest's vacation very seriously as we know most don't get very many, so we try and make everything as perfect as we can, less Mother Nature, she does her own thing. We have some friends that bought a home in Stockton and looked for a place to stay when we visit. We found little to choose from that met our requirements which was treed and somewhat private, that was newer than the 1970's. It didn't exist. Being that we only live an hour away, and felt we could provide a new experience to the vacation goer, so we took a chance and bought a 7 acre heavily wooded parcel, built a road, brought in power, and built 2 cottages. Now we'll have a place to go and stay at the lake with the Grandkids when they come down from WI (our original home before we decided we don't have to die in the frozen tundra) That's Alena and Noelle in the photo with us. And also, we now hope to Host many Stockton Lake lovers for years to come. Please come and stay with us! Kind Regards, Randy & Julie

Why Randy and Julie chose Stockton
We are new construction, so everything is fresh and clean! So new that unfortunately we have a lot of areas not in grass yet so this year we are unable to invite your 4-legged family members. Next year, we promise. There is plenty of room to park your boat trailer, if applicable. There is a carport to house your car, boat or outdoor cookout in the event of rain. There is no traffic noise, just the sounds of nature.
What makes this Cabin unique
Location, Location, Location. Enjoy being on the lake, or at the park knowing you are literally minutes from a place to cookout, sleep or just relax. You are also just 5-10 minutes from grocery stores, bait, gas, restaurants, etc.
100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date. 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
Excellent for a getaway
Was pleasantly surprised with how nice and secluded the property was. We had a great few nights and enjoyed the nature setting. Very nicely appointed high quality cabins. I’m assuming it’s difficult to find any cabins this nice around Stockton Lake.
Beautiful, secluded cottages.
These cabins were Awesome! Much needed quiet and relaxing. short run to town.
one item for improvement: cut just a few more of the trees back that sit right beside the driveway - Don't want to lose the aesthetic but I have a 1 ton dually and it was a little close for comfort on some of them (let alone get boat & trailer in and out).
Nice little cabin in the woods
Had a great stay in this cabin. It is set back into the woods which is nice for privacy. Only complaint was we had poor phone signal on T-Mobile and they had no internet so we had a hard time looking up things to do in the area, but the owners were very accommodating and gave us suggestions when we asked. Overall it was great.
Late fall stay near Stockton Lake
This is an inviting, new, pleasantly-decorated cottage in a wooded setting. Kitchen is well set up to serve four to six. Beds are very comfortable. The cottage’s close proximity to Crab Tree Cove enabled us to walk the numerous trails near the lake with our dog each morning, which we did even on cloudy/rainy days because the scenery is great! A 25-minute drive to the east brings you into Bolivar, MO, where you can take in the sporting events at Southwest Baptist University. The only enhancements we could suggest would be a brighter carport light or motion-sensor light, as we had to pack up and depart before dawn, and maybe a nightlight or two indoors. We had fun! We would certainly stay at this cottage again.
This is a great review with good feed back. I will be adding lighting this winter.
Impressive.. Updated.. Cabin "HOME" feeling stay!
This Cabin is tucked back into the woods and secluded which was very nice to wake up to nature. It's a short 15 minute drive to New Orleans Marina is you have a boat and need a close slip rental. When we first walked in I was surprised at everything this cabin had to offer. It comfortably fit 6 adults, (I would recommend a blow up mattress for the people sleeping in the living room). They provided linens, towels, pots & pans, silverware, plates, etc. (We did bring paper plates and forks so we wouldn't have to run the dishwasher many times). Overall a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this place!
Our stay was great but the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is due to the musty smell! It was raining when we got there and that could be why, however I did let them know and they said they would be on it!
I inspected that crawl space area and It did smell musty. The ground was moist to muddy in spots I assume from all the rain we recieved this month. I made sure all the vents were open and set up a temp blower to help dry it out.
Since our cottage is located 1/4 mile from the entrance of Crabtree Cove Park, you can enjoy all of the activities the park has to offer including:
Picnic areas, fishing docks, boat launch, playground equipment, etc.
