Everyone on Oahu knows the Ilikai Marina; ask any kama'aina (local). The Pink Plumeria is right at the center of action for the Ala Wai (Ala Moana) boat harbor and beach park, and a hundred other magical points of interest, yet is remarkably pleasant, convenient, and luxurious. At 679 sq. ft., this condo is considered large by Waikiki oceanfront standards.

Picture yourself watching the outrigger canoe practices, cheering on world-class surfers, or toasting the blazing sunset with your mai tai from our completely refurbished and updated luxury condominium. Or maybe marveling at the Friday night fireworks at the Hilton from one of the best vistas in town. Serene, quiet, ocean front and marina-front living with a 180 degree ocean and marina view. A true one-bedroom unit, a large sliding door closes to separate the living room from the bedroom, but can be open to make the condo look and feel bigger.

Our unit is at the more tranquil Ewa end of Waikiki, yet mere minutes from Ala Moana Mall, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Ft. Derussy, Magic Island, Duke's, and 100 other tropical destinations, especially the sparkling white sands of Waikiki - the 'funnest' beach in the world!

Don't feel like cooking? Three 'Best in Honolulu' restaurants are within a one-minute walk: the Chart House, Morimoto's (The Iron Chef), and Sarento's Top of the 'I.' Outback Steakhouse, Red Lobster, and the Harbor Pub are also less than a one-minute walk away. On your way to the beach, stop off at Canoe's Ilikai Bar and Grill world famous restaurant and bar for excellent food, drinks, and 'local kine' hula and music. All this within a one-minute walk.

Locals love the look and feel of the Ilikai Marina, and you will too. The warm feeling of aloha will gently soothe your cares as you relax into the local kine lifestyle. Many of our guests don't even bother to rent a car; 'The Bus' is consistently rated the best public transportation system in the USA.

There is a public parking garage next to to our building, and parking is currently $20 per day. Currently, guests may purchase a two-month parking pass for $255. If you use the attached parking garage, you will be able to walk directly from your car to our unit; no elevator ride or stairs to climb with your luggage or groceries. There is also hourly public parking in front of our building and surrounding the marina. The above rates are subject to change.

We also feature an inside-the-unit washer and dryer, (please contact owner if you wish to use please, as the City Code has made some changes necessary ), big screen TV, and quiet central air conditioning! Updated furniture, appliances, fixtures, and decorating. Yes, we love it! You will too! No bait and switch on these photos. EVERY PHOTO TAKEN BY US OF THIS EXACT CONDO!


Guests supply their own personal shampoo and soap.

Our building does not have a swimming pool.

Aloha Ka Kou! E Komo Mai! Aloha to all and welcome! It is our pleasure to offer you one of the finer one bedroom ocean front condos in the Waikiki area. Just a little about us: I am a former University professor, small business owner, and management consultant for many years. Currently I am a business broker specializing in helping people buy or sell their smaller businesses the Santa Cruz, CA, USA area.

My wife lived on Oahu in Lanikai and Kailua for many years, and was a successful chiropractor in Kailua. She is now a chiropractor practicing in the Santa Cruz, CA. Although she still considers herself a novice, she loves dancing and performing hula shows with her halau (hula school) Te Hau Nui in Santa Cruz.

Both my wife and I love the Hawaiian people, the culture, and the Hawaiian oceansports. We have both been avid outrigger paddlers and racers for many years. I have been surfing since I was 4 years old. We get into the water whenever we can...which is never enough of course! Part of our commitment to Hawaii is to cherish and respect our opportunity to own a condo in the Land of Aloha.

What makes this condo unique

We fell in love with our condo as soon as we saw it. It is in one of the most laid back areas of Waikiki, and is right next to where my wife's father worked at the old Kaiser Hospital for many years. He loved this neighborhood and lived in it for years.

Our condo is very nicely appointed, upscale, refurbished throughout, and is wonderful for those of you looking for a little less intensity with a little more of the local-kine feel of the neighborhood. Our proximity to the Hilton gives us the same beach and play opportunities, at

much less cost.

Top notch all the way!

If you read all of the reviews you'll notice several common threads...a

beautifully located and maintained condo and what a pleasure it was to deal

with Rex and Erica, the owners, and Lila, their lovely and knowledgeable

property manager. This was our first time renting a privately owned condo

and we couldn't concur more whole heartedly...a fantastic place to stay in an

A condo to recommend!

I attended a language school in Honolulu last year from June to mid August. For this reason, I looked for a small apartment in the area of Waikiki and I fortunately found the beautiful and perfectly located Condo Pink Plumeria.

The owners, Erica and Rex Walters, personally took care of all contractual and financial matters, and I had personal Email and telephone contact with them, which I very, very appreciated.

From the Condo you have a fantastic view directly to the marina of Honolulu. Moreover, during an absolutely beautiful beach walk which takes about 20 minutes, you pass the Hilton lagoon (every Friday evening fireworks!) and the army beach to the Waikiki beach. On the way, you will also pass the barefoot beach Bar, the world-famous Duke’s, and the beautiful Hotel Moana Surfrider called the First Lady (I highly recommend the Surfer-Mai-Tai). If you follow the beach walk, the barefoot coffee can be highly recommended as well. Every Friday and Saturday there is music and a BBQ.

The condo is on the 5th floor of an apartment house with an elevator. It is very nice and beautifully furnished with an open kitchen, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom and very comfortable living room.

In the immediate vicinity, there are countless food and shopping opportunities (eg the famous Ala Moana shopping center) which can be reached on foot or by bus.

I found this condo so great that I booked it again this year for another nine weeks over the summer.

I felt like I was home again.

As the door to the "PINK PLUMERIA" opened......Wow is all my mother and I can say

I first picked this unit for my mother and I because it had a constant 5-star rating and I loved the view of the harbor. If I could of, I would have given it a 10-star rating. When the door opened, both my mother and I, mouths dropped wide open with amazement. The pictures of this unit was way and beyond what we ever dreamed it would be. Every closet and cabinet door we open there was a surprised. From beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, binoculars, DVD's, books, first aid box and cleaning supplies. I don't want to bore you with all the extra's they had in their condo but the owners really put a lot of thought into making your stay feel as if you had the comfort of your home. I loved the kitchen, it was fully stocked with appliances, seasonings and even coffee and tea for your enjoyment. They even had a large pitcher in the cabinet to make my mother some ice tea for our 9-day stay there. Most people would venture out to eat but with my mother being disabled the kitchen came in handy to cooking our meals. The owners, Rex and Erica put a lot thought into their condo. They had everything to make your vacation a enjoyable stay. What impressed me the most was the view and the music from the Chart House in the evenings. Mom and I sat on the lanai watching the people below taking their morning and evening strolls along the marina harbor. We watched the fishing boat in the morning preparing their boat for their guest to go out deep sea fishing for the day. There was always something going on at the boat harbor that kept you occupied. The Chart House being on the first floor, we were able to capture the smell of their wonderful dishes they were preparing and the sound of live music that played in the evenings. For those who do consider to book the "Pink Plumeria" for their stay, please don't miss the spectacular firework display on Friday evenings. You have the best spot for your viewing right their on your lanai. My mother and I were very fortunate enough to be able to see the fireworks show three times. The Hilton Hotel must of had something special going on Tuesday night because we just so happened to be back at the condo just in time to watch the fireworks show again. The view was spectacular and I was actually able to take pictures and a video recording of the fireworks Grand Finale. The 9-days went by so fast for us because we kept very busy. Fantastic in Every Way

As expressed by another reviewer, it’s difficult to add to the other reviews; although we can certainly confirm them. We vacationed in Honolulu for 10 days to visit our son, who is stationed on Oahu. I can’t imagine a better location for a vacation in Honolulu, and this was the best vacation rental unit we’ve ever stayed in. It is exactly as shown in the pictures—clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. The kitchen has virtually everything one could want; and the beach gear includes chairs, umbrella, ice chest, and even a back pack. The location is extremely convenient, with a variety of restaurants right in the building, a small grocery right across the street, and within walking distance to the beach, shopping, and many other restaurants in the Waikiki area. And, of course, the view of the marina and ocean is spectacular! Sunset is a photo opportunity every day. Rex and Erica, as well as local contacts Ryan and Kelly, are very responsive and delightful to deal with. We highly recommend this unit, and it will certainly be our first choice when we return to Honolulu.

Beautiful, clean ocean front condo

We spent a week at the Pink Plumeria and enjoyed our stay in every way. Rex and Erica were great to work with. The condo is very clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The view of the Marina and ocean was a real plus and we enjoyed it so much. We always found a parking place on the same level as the condo, which made it so convenient. It sure was easy to enter and leave the condo with the keypad. They have a great property manager who is very available is needed. We hope to come back again soon! Thanks Rex and Erica!

I can't say enough about this location and property. The view from the lanai was breathtaking and the location was walking distance to tons of places. The property is spotless and very well appointed, with beach chairs and towels and all the other paraphernalia needed to enjoy the beach which just happens to be about 300 yards off. Rex and his wife are the picture of hospitality and a joy to rent from. If you are lucky enough to get this rental jump at the chance! I'll definitely rent from them again if given the opportunity.
