Lovely apartment in a good location
We really enjoyed our stay at Esther's apartment. It is bright and well equipped. Excellent communication from Esther and Enrique before the holiday. El Palo is a friendly neighbourhood with plenty of good beaches, cafes, shops and bars. There are frequent buses into Malaga for the sights, galleries and shopping. We also hired a car to explore Ronda, the white towns and further along the coast. All highly recommended.
Great location and great apartment
A lovely apartment in a very nice area with good access to all amenities. Beach, bars and restaurants with lovely promenade to meander or in our case jogging.
The owner and manager are very communicative and friendly. We only had one minor query which was immediately sorted. Will definitely return. Thanks.
Great beach location
The apartment was very bright and clean and well furnished with very comfy beds . Its location a few minutes walk from the beach is ideal and there are lots of nice shops and restaurants nearby. There is a frequent bus service into Malage centre where there is a big choice of things to do and excellent night life.
The apartment was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. It's location was brilliant, a few minutes walk to the beach, supermarkets and good restaurants. We loved the old part of Malaga city, especially the culture with the Picasso centre and the Glass Museum, where we were shown around by the owner Gonzalo, who was highly entertaining and knowledgeable. Would definite recommend the apartment.
Comfortable and well located
The apartment is comfortable and well equiped. It is located in El Palo close to the beach, restaurants, shops and buses to the centre of Malaga.
Dealing with Esther and Christane was easy and efficient. The apartment faces north which would be a positive in summer. It was a little cool in November which necessitated using the heaters at times.
Great place for family
This apartment is a great place for family holidays. I spent 5 days with my 2 young daughters my mum and a friend. Very clean, conformable, WiFi very good. Ester and Cristina very helpful.
The area is full of cafes, restaurants and playgrounds, 5 minuts walk to the beach and bus stop to go to the old town.
We highly recommend it and will go back!

The apartment is located in the favourite area for Malaga capital citizens during spring and summer times. Besides, for the tourist, is without any doubt, a privilege location in Malaga city as it enables to combine cultural tourism with beach with no need for car. So, on one hand is one step to Pedregalejo promenade and its beach, and on the other hand, is two minute walk to line 11 bus stop, which runs every 5 min to the old town and takes 10-15 min to get there. It’s advisable not to take the car to get to the old town because parking is very expensive.
Pedregalejo promenade hosts many restaurants, not only chiringuito fish but many different cuisines as well as tapas bar, cafeterias, ice-creams, standing out its chill out terraces where to relaxed with a cocktail in the sun contemplating the sea and enjoying the outdoor life and its vibrant atmosphere, including hippies and handicraft shops.
Pedregalejo beach counts with hammocks and sun umbrella areas as well as public showers, and the sea level is ideal for children. There are playground areas in the beach, one minute from the apartment.
Pedregalejo and El Palo neighbourhood have undoubtedly a powerful attraction for the traveller who likes to get to know the authentic Spanish culture and enjoyable life style.
On this promenade one can appreciate a mixed of the past (charming old fish men houses closed to the sea where the famous sardines of Malaga city are barbecued in boats), together with the new (restaurants with very lively outdoor atmosphere and different gastronomies and also relaxing fashionable chill out terraces). To have a breakfast on the promenade tasting the huge assortment fruit juices is very advisable… and, well, not to forget your sunglasses for the pleasant chill out terraces is a must!
In the neighbourhood there are a very popular restaurants for locals where to eat outdoors good meat (including Argentinian grilled places) and excellent tapas at a much lower prices than in the old town. Pimpi Plorido is an emblematic sea food and Andalusian wine bar, very narrow and always very crowed, a place where to get impregnated of the Spanish culture and have a good time (not advisable for children, though). 4 Esquinas is compulsory to taste the famous “churro doughnuts” of El Palo.
There are bakeries, local groceries and several supermarkets near the apartment. Mercadona supermarket is just 2 min walk and Supersol 1 min. In El Palo market offers excellent fresh food, standing out for its fruit, vegetable, fish and meat.
There are cafeterias where to have breakfast, ..there are pharmacies, hairdresser, Fashion shops, anything one can need in a self-catering holidays and much more..
On the other hand, Malaga city is located in the South and central part of Andalusia, so it’s an ideal base to make one day trips to the beautiful cities of Granada, Cordoba, and Seville. Nerja and Ronda big villages are in one hour drive.
Malaga old town is really worthwhile and it’s advisable to dedicate at least one or two days to visit it. In any case, in summer when it’s very hot, it’s better to go with sunset or very early in the morning, and during the day it’s better to stay near the sea and its breeze. Nevertheless, very closed to the old town, it’s recommendable to visit Palmeral de las Sorpresas small promenade, new area with restaurants and shops in the harbour, with views to Malaga castle, the Cathedral and to some luxury yachts.
For family with children, and just 25 min by the motorway, they are located the famous attraction park Tivoli World, Aqualand, Cocodrile Park and Puerto Marina sail harbour.
The apartment has been recently rebuilt and fully redecorated; it’s placed on a 4th floor in a building which is 50 meters to the promenade and to the beach. The main views even if are not to the sea, are still bright and wide splendid, looking to the city and to the mountains.
This holiday home is special as it offers a very stylish decoration intended to make guests feel very comfortable and at the same time delighted by their eyes. The apartment has a very spacious and modern distribution. The hall is opened to an Italian designed elegantly furnished living room that counts with a balcony with wide views to the mountains and to the city. The hall is also opened to both, a designer dining area which seats 6-8 people, and to a new kitchen, totally equipped, very functional with an isle in the middle.
The building counts with a closed courtyard so that children can play open air. In the price is included free wifi Internet and splits to guarantee the complete apartment can be kept cold/warm in summer/winter.
In the price, it's included a parking space in a private covered garage, in an adjacent street just off the apartment street (180 meter, 2 or 3 min walk).
The apartment is on a 4th floor and there is a lift.
