This house is situated in the heart of the Old Town with its daily markets and numerous cafés, restaurants and bars. The house has stunning panoramic sea views and is situated directly opposite the beach.

The property is set out over three levels. On the 1st floor there is a large open-plan living room/dining room/kitchen with French doors to the balcony giving extensive sea views. There is a fully fitted kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob, fridge/freezer) and the house is equipped with air-conditioning, a TV and DVD player.

On the ground level is the master bedroom with an en-suite corner bath and vanity unit, fitted wardrobes and French doors that open from the bedroom onto a private terrace. There is also a separate W.C.

On the basement level there are two double bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes. There is also a shower room and separate W.C. along with a laundry room with a washer and dryer.

Everything about this apartment is perfect.

An unusual and fantastic apartment. Location could not be better for the market and the old town. The view is amazing, it is noisy right by the busy main road, but that's Nice! Not disturbed at night time by the traffic. Connie was lovely and very helpful. Got to be the best apartment in Nice!

Very good again

Just perfect

The house, and Connie who took care of us when we arrived and during our stay, were perfect. It’s a very cozy and comfortable house, perfect for our family of four. The bedrooms downstairs were very quiet and cool. In the kitchen and living room area were nice and open. Open the double doors, and you bring the ocean and the street right in. The house itself it’s perfectly situated in the old part of Nice. Travel tip: I did rent a car for day trips and parked it in the parking garage under the Salaya market, which is just a block away. However right outside the front door of this house are both rental bikes and rental electronic cars (AutoBleue). It would’ve been more convenient to take day trips by just picking up the car right outside the front door. What a great home. We would definitely stay there again.

The best place to stay in Nice

We all had a great family holiday. The apartment is very well equipped and Connie is an absolute gem for help and advice. We enjoyed breakfast in the apartment and sat on the balcony for drinks before walking a few yards into the Old town for dinner. The location couldn't be better. I am already planning to return again next year.

WOW!!!

Everything about this property is perfect. Connie is a kind, efficient and gracious host, met us early when our flight came in early so we could drop our bags and pointed us out to explore. The home is lovely, extremely inviting decor, furniture, and the 3 level layout means that early risers don't disturb those that want to sleep in. As others said, the outside road and promenade sounds are blocked by the thick walls and double pained glass. The rooms are all spacious and spotless. Fully equip kitchen and fresh farmer's market around the corner, makes it a joy to cook your own meals if you want to.

Location is impossible to beat. It is 20 minutes from the airport, across the street from the sea, and on the other side, the old town with the farmer's market and endless choices for restaurants, shops, and gelato!

Castle Hill is super close and a great way to start the day, exploring all the different paths and then a swim to cool off. Our teens walked for hours every nite on the promenade watching people gambling on shell games, getting hair braiding, dancing. All very exciting. But would be great spot for young children as well.

We also took a french cooking class from www.cuisinesurcours.com that was a unique experience (helps if you know some French but not a deal breaker). Recommend if you want to try something different.

We only had a week but really wish we could stay for months. Beautiful home, gracious hosts, and ideal location. WOW!!!

stunning property in wonderful location

Spacious clean property in the wonderful old town. Stunning sea views of the Promenade des Anglais. Well equipped kitchen, large tv and wifi. Comfortable beds and fully air conditioned. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. Will definitely want to stay here again

This house is located in the heart of the Old Town of Nice (Vieux Nice) overlooking the sea on Rue des Ponchettes. The “Ponchettes” are one of the landmarks of Old Nice, classified for protection as an historical and architectural treasure. Dating from the 18th century the house is situated among the arcades and terraces that make up the Ponchettes. The house has beautiful views over the Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels), with a pebble beach directly opposite and the old castle is a short stroll away.

Also on your doorstep is the Promenade des Anglais - Nice's famous seafront esplanade. It's 6km long and is a fantastic place for a stroll or you can hire a bicycle or Rollerblade up and down the Promenade.

The Cours Saleya with its famous flower market, cafés and restaurants is less than a minutes walk from the house. Nearby there are also some excellent speciality shops, art galleries and museums (Musee Matisse, Musee des Beaux Arts, Musee d'Art Moderne et Contemporain).

Other activities nearby include beach volleyball and the traditional game of Boules. A golf course can be found a 30min drive from the apartment and a great ski resort is located a 1hr15min drive away.
