Great area but villa lacking in cleanliness
We loved the location and layout of the villa. The view was amazing.
Pros: walking distance to everything like grocery store, the sea, restaurants. Well laid out villa that was plenty big for our group of 4. The pool was fantastic but very cold. We asked t have it heated but I don't think it was. The weather was amazing when we were there so that helped.
Cons: the villa was not clean. We had to run the dishwasher for ALL the glassware and dishes plus launder all the sheets and pillowcases before we could use them. The floors were filthy. Once of the beds had broken slats so there was a huge dip in the middle of the mattress. Some o the utensils were broken (wine opener so we had to purchase).
The balconies were very nice as was the pool area for lounging.
No ice was made in the freezer. The host, Valentina never answered our calls or texts when we had questions about where to dispose of trash. She told us that our neighbors would put out crates for us to deposit trash but when we asked them, they did not know what we were talking about. She always seemed to be in a hurry but was late when we checked out which put us behind on our itinerary.
I would only stay here again if the villa had a very thorough cleaning.
really really wonderful and very nice
we spent a very nice time in this villa - we were 6 adults and 2 little girls (11 months and 2,5 years) It is really wonderfull there and everything is like on the photos. We loved this week and we really think about it to come back again :)
Everything was just as described in the ad. In addition was the owners (who lives nextdoor) amazing. Very helpful and friendly. Big, fluffy towels and nice, comfortable beds in every room. Quiet neigborhood with a couple of OK restaurants within walking distance. A couple of small markets where one can buy milk and bread, but not much more. For shopping; taxi to Pula for 7 people costs about 130 Kona.
Amazing villa !
We spent an amazing week, the villa was exactly like on the photos.
You could find two restaurants near the villa where you could eat the very good crotian food, there are two little market, there is a way to rent car, scooter and little boat. We would like to thank the owners for their kindness !
This is a beach front villa in Pjescana Uvala near Pula. In a very short walking distance there is a wide choice of excellent bars and restaurants. The beach is just under the property where you can hire equipment for all sorts of water sports. On the beach there is free to use fitness equipment and a beach volley course. There is public transport to the centre of Pula
Both the Roman town of Pula and charming Medulin are within easy reach. Medulin is regarded as one of the best bathing resorts in Istria.
You will find a variety of bars and restaurants in Medulin and in the neighbouring Premantura, all famous for their fish menus. Pula also abounds with great restaurants, some of them you will find while strolling in the old town centre, rich with Roman remains. The most famous of all Roman monuments in Pula, the starting and ending point of every sightseeing tour is the Amphitheater, popularly called the Arena of Pula, which was once the site of gladiator fights. It was built in the 1st century AD during the reign of Emperor Vespasian, at the same time as the magnificent Colosseum in Rome. Today it is the venue for summer performances - the Film Festival, Opera Season, Equestrian Festival, concerts and theatre performances. The underground passages, once used by the gladiators, nowadays host regular exhibitions.
It is not just cultural monuments that this part of Istria abounds with, but it is rich with natural beauties as well. Cape Kamenjak is a nature park located on the southernmost part of Istrian peninsula, 15 minutes drive away from Bonelli. You can spend a day in this beautiful nature park exploring little coves and bathing in the clear sea.
Car is not necessary.
