About the property

As seen on House Hunters International. You can relax on one of the terraces or balconies which have great views of the sea. Walk into the first floor of this upside down home. This floor houses the living room with sofa bed, kitchen, naya/naia and bathroom with a shower. There is a tv with dvd player and a kitchen that has all the typical necessities including dishwasher, stove, fridge, toaster oven, microwave, orange juicer, toaster, coffee maker and electric kettle. Go downstairs to spend the night in one of the 3 bedrooms. You have your choice of 2 doubles or a single with bunk beds. This floor also has a washing machine and a full bath. Enjoy dinner on the large terrace using the BBQ.

About Victoria & Paul

We live in the US but my husband is from the UK. He moved to the US about 3 years ago. He is from Lancashire in a small village near Clitheroe. I have lived in many large cities: Chicago, NY and now Dallas.

Why Victoria & Paul chose La Font d'En Carròs

I asked my husband, when it is cold in England, where does everyone go and he said Spain. So we started looking at areas and fell in love with the Costa Azahar area specifically the town of Oliva, the smell of the orange blossoms and the beautiful beach. Compromising between being in town and having lots of property we chose Bella Vista. Where we currently live, we are not able to have the amazing views.

What makes this villa unique

The sea views and surrounding hills are what drew us to this home. Getting on our bikes and riding down to the town or the beach is something we look forward to each day. We also really wanted the typical Spanish look with white stucco and terracotta roof tiles. But most importantly just the feeling of relaxation.

We really enjoyed our stay The villa was lovely and a good base to explore the region. The neighbors next door were very welcoming. We left behind some beach stuff in the shed and a couple of books too for whoever wants them.

  • One of the bedrooms has a balcony off of it that you can sit outside and enjoy the weather. Technically we can comfortably sleep 9 + a baby but 5 seemed like a more reasonable number.

Just got back from another week spent at our home. Since both of us enjoy 'doing little jobs,' I was out working on some gardening. We have lovely rose bushes, many different types of cacti and succulents. So beautiful. Still waiting for the lemons to ripen on the lemon tree. My husband did some painting on the outside of our home. We also had a great time walking along the beach, going to restaurants and playing darts on Thursday night at a local pub. Can't wait to go back again.

As the title explains, rested and relaxed in their heaven on earth

Fantastic stay in a fantastic place. Visited 5 different beaches and all brilliant.

Really enjoyed all aspects of the break away and definitely plan on coming again. Can't fault the house and really didn't want to come home - the town is authentic and once I was used to driving on the wrong side of the road really felt at home there.

Breakfast outside on the upstairs patio, bbq most evenings, relaxing by the pool....wish I was still there...

Everything was as you would it expect it to be, the beach in Olivia a real highlight - went the most days during our second week, with the children making the most of the watersports - banana boat, kayaking, and paddle boarding in the warm, clear sea - whilst I had a churros and a coffee....

Would 100% recommend staying here, clean, well equipped and just ready for you to relax and enjoy where you are.

Everything you need

The house is set in a mountain with beautiful views. Very well equiped with everything you could possibly want. Clean and comfortable. Beach and amenities within easy reach.

A slight issue with the neighbour and the parking but I told Victoria and she said she would organise it for the future.

Totally recommended.

An excellent all round place to stay

My Husband and I had an amazing holiday. This villa is beautiful with the most fantastic view would love to wake every day to enjoy. The drive up to the villa through fields & fields of orange groves,. We found so many lovely restaurants and bars in Oliva well worth a visit and the beach down there was absolutely wonderful, clear water & fine sand,

Great owners, very well maintained and everything to make to your holiday special, it was a lovely place and we will return again. There was very no noise and plenty of supermarkets around 5k, great pool and bbq area. You will not regret going, all in all,

A great villa, with good views. Pool was lovely. Accommodation of high quality. A good central place to stay. Quiet in the hills but very close to beaches, towns and shops. Local village within easy walking distance.

Our property is built into the hillside with views of the sea. You can walk or ride bikes into the town of Oliva but for ease, a car is preferred. There are many larger towns like Gandia about 15 minutes with various places to shop. We enjoy going into the town of Oliva on a Friday night for tapas night. Many of the bars get together and offer specials of a drink and a tapa. On Fridays during the day, the town of Oliva has an amazing market where you can purchase fresh vegetables, fruits and other items at very good prices. We have also found a couple good places to watch football or play darts. Like many of the Spanish towns, there are various holidays that are celebrated in the town. The beaches in this area like the Oliva beach rival the Florida beaches in the US. The white sand is lovely. If you want to enjoy the night-life, Gandia and Denia have some fun clubs.

100 Euro non-refundable deposit if cancel within 60 days, remaining due 2 weeks before arrival. If a booking is within 2 weeks of the arrival, the whole cost of the villa rental shall be due at the time of booking. A contract with terms & conditions will be included during booking. A 150 Euro refundable security deposit is payable to the villa owner with the final payment. Typical arrival is after 4 pm and departure before 10 am. Prices are subject to change depending on how many people and length of stay.
