Villa Elvira is a superb country villa in a great location, just 500m from the main road between the beach & Torrox village. Villa Elvira has a beautiful private swimming pool set in lawned gardens. You will spend many pleasant evenings wining & dining on the superb BBQ terrace, overlooking the pool & out over the Mediterranean sea. Accommodation is comfortable with 3 bedrooms, family bathroom with bath & shower. Open plan fitted kitchen. Master bedroom with double bed. Twin bedroom & a single. There is a sofa bed in the lounge, enabling 6 people to sleep comfortably. Ample private secure parking. Features include Sat TV, PayGo wifi, fireplace, but the view is best!!

Lovely traditional villa

" Magnificent Country Villa With Private Pool & Spectacular Views " This was the description and it didn't disappoint .

The property was spotless and had everything needed for a wonderful holiday .The outside area was everything we could ask for and apart from sleeping and cooking we spend all our time here .

The gazebo provided a mush needed rest bite from the afternoon sun .

The pool and gardens were lovely and Jose , the owner , came regularly to maintain both . Jose was very proud of his garden and although he spoke no English and we no Spanish we had regular chats . He was charming man .

The village of Torrox Pueblo was very pretty and La Plaza with it's dancing umbrella's and fountain's was the ideal place to eat . We would highly recommend the La Casa Restaurant whose food and service was excellent .

Ruhige und schöne Urlaubstage in Andalusien

Villa Elvira ist ein hübsches Ferienhaus in optimaler Lage in der Nähe von Torrox Pueblo an der Costa del Sol. Wir verbrachten hier mit unseren zwei Teenagern zwei erholsame Urlaubswochen.

Das Haus ist zweckmäßig ausgetattet und bietet Platz für fünf Personen. Etwas mehr Besteck wäre prima gewesen, aber es war ausreichend. Der Blick von der überdachten Terasse ist perfekt! Im Garten mit Pool konnten wir uns sehr gut entspannen und nach den Ausflügen in die Umgebung den Abend genießen.

Im Haus selbst haben wir uns wenig aufgehalten, da das Wetter zu schön dafür war. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist in Ordnung, alles sauber und in gutem Zustand, allerdings waren die Betten etwas gewöhnungsbefürftig. Die Straße zum Haus hoch ist sehr schmal und steil und wir waren froh, ein gut motorisiertes Auto mit Bodenfreiheit zu fahren. Trotzdem ist es sehr gut zu erreichen und die Anfahrt dank der sehr wenig befahrenen Straße und zuvorkommenden entgegenkommenden Fahrzeuge gut zu schaffen.

Wir haben die zwei Wochen sehr genossen und können das Haus weiterempfehlen.

Der Vermieter Jose ist sehr freundlich und nett und kommt zweimal pro Woche, um den schönen Garten zu pflegen und zu säubern. Er spricht zwar nur spanisch, aber wir haben trotzdem sehr gut alles verstanden und Jose war sehr hilfsbereit und jederzeit für uns ansprechbar.

Alles in allem ein schönes Haus in einer sehr guten Lage und trotzdem ruhig.

All good!

We rented this house for 3 weeks with a family of 2 adults and three children (ages 3,5,6). It was the best house we rented so far in this area. The house is nicely decorated in the local style and is equipped with all you need. It does not have a dishwasher but that was no problem for us. The internet was good, high speed. It has a large terrace with sunshine from early morning until around 20.00PM. Access is easy via a good concrete road. Closest beach is about a 5 minute drive. Other beaches (La Herradura, Almunecar, Nerja, El Morche, etc) are all within about a 20 minute drive. To the West we spend some time in Benalmadena. We can recommend the cable car going up the mountain. We enjoyed some really nice views; we could see the Sierra Nevada, Nerja, Malaga, Gibraltar and Africa all from one spot. At the top they also have a nice bird show, great for kids.

The view from the house is also really spectacular; to the front you have a nice and wide view over the coastline. To the back you see the mountains, especially nice in the early morning when the sun comes over the mountains. The pool is very nice and cleaned twice per week. The garden is full with tomatoes, grapes, avocados, figs, herbs, lemons and more. The owner came by twice a week to clean the pool and maintain the garden. We were also allowed to eat from the garden, which we did every day. Really super. Our children enjoyed the time when the owner came by. They helped him sprinkle the lawn, pick fruits from the trees and have fun with his friendly dog (which can also do all sorts of tricks, great for kids!).

We will definitely consider this house again in the future and can recommend it to all.

Super vacances

Maison très propre, propriétaire tres sympathique et réactif !

La piscine et le jardin sont magnifiques, tres au calme et très bien ensoleillé.

Situation idéale tout prêt de nerja, des villages de montagne et des plages.

Nous étions très heureux d'avoir choisi cette villa!

Lovely holiday in fantastic villa

We had a lovely two weeks in villa Elvira ! The location is great , thought the road up to the villa a bit steep , but how else can you get such great views ! The villa was really clean and well equipped , very we'll kept and homely . The balcony a welcome escape from the hot sun and the pool area welcoming and private ,the grounds of the villa are lovely with grapes and other fruit growing . We visited both Torrox Pueblo and Costa , preferring the lovely little mountain square to the costal strip . It was a great base for exploring this beautiful area of Spain and we recommend Nerja for the caves and restaurants , the Alhambra palace at granada , Mijas near to Marbella and the amazing gorge at Ronda . The wifi worked perfectly essential when you gave two teenagers ! Overall a fantastic location for a great holiday .

Torrox provides the perfect base to explore Andalucia.
