Wonderful hosts! Large, lovely space.

  • 5 of 5

We are so pleased. Femmy & Ruud are delightful hosts. We were welcomed with a fully stocked refrigerator and a lovely, large, quiet entire 3rd floor flat with kitchen, dining table and balconey. The location is near the center city, yet there is little noise on their side street. Our hosts speak fluent English and recommended a variety of shops and restaurants for our visit. There is a supermarket around the corner and free bicycles to tour the city. Should we return to Amsterdam, we will certainly stay again with Femmy & Ruud.

Great location!

  • 5 of 5

My husband & I are infrequent travellers and 1st time VRBO users. We were VERY happy with our stay here. Femmy & Rudd were delightfully friendly and helpful.

We arrived to fresh buns, cheese and wine and a fridge with some eggs and milk etc. Nice touch!

We were able to walk to everything (don't miss the nearby Dutch Resistance Museum). The bed was very comfortable. The suite roomy and quiet.

Some quirks of such an old historical building may not be a hit with others but we found it charming. As with all buildings this old, plumbing and electric have been installed after the building was built - and the stairs are narrow and steep. We did not find this a detraction, rather it was fascinatingly authentic.

This was my first time in Amsterdam and hope to return someday. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Living in a true european flat.

  • 4 of 5

Great host. Loved being close to the action and having a quiet place to come home to. Be prepared to walk up steep set of narrow stairs. The blooming tree outside the window made spring time in Amsterdam special.

Perfect flat

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time! The king bed is so comfy. Shower was hot with great water pressure. Quiet neighborhood. We felt right at home and Femmy was a delightful host -- we were welcomed with wines, cheese, greasy breads, fruits and cured meats. Well stocked kitchen! Highly recommend this spot in the lovely and enchanting Amsterdam.

Great location and lovely owners!

  • 4 of 5

My friend and I loved our time in Amsterdam, and found this apartment very convenient as a base. It is walkable to Centraal Station which is helpful for easy arrival and excursions beyond the city. The neighbourhood is very quiet and you can walk or bike from here to all of the major sites and areas of the city. The apartment was incredibly well stocked with food and wine which was a lovely surprise and meant that we did not have to rush out to stock up immediately upon arrival. (Spar supermarket is 1 minute around the corner and probably has everything you will need) The balcony is a lovely plus. Access to 2 bikes was absolutely wonderful and we so much enjoyed being able to use them. The owners are delightful people and extremely helpful and kind. Thank you so much Femmy and Ruud for a wonderful base in an amazing city!

Spacious apartment - great location

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time in Amsterdam with this apartment as our home base. It was easy to check in, the sweet & funny caretaker was on site. The city was completely walk or bike-able from this location. Use of 2 bikes are included. The place is nicely furnished and, as a gift to first time renters, very well provisioned. We were provided with water, wine, juice, milk, bread, cheese, fruit, eggs, etc. The bad is King sized with a latex foam mattress, very firm. WIFI was fast. It was nice to have a patio. The bathroom was quite small - as you would expect in Europe. We were able to walk from Central Station, with luggage, without a problem. An Uber back to the airport was €36.
