About Joshua Frank
I am a retired educator and educational consultant. My wife and I live in Boston. We spend weekends during the summer at our Westerly home.
Joshua Frank purchased this House in 2013
Why Joshua Frank chose Westerly
My wife, Emily, has always loved the beach! We bought this home in 2013 to spend summer mornings walking the beach, and for our family to gather. We love Westerly's charm, its restaurants, the park.
What makes this House unique
We have just installed new kitchen floors upstairs and down stairs. We have also just installed air conditioning throughout the house!

Charming Rental in a Charming Town
Whether you are or are not familiar with Westerly, RI, this rental home is ideally situated in a quiet neighborhood close to all that Westerly has to offer both in the downtown area and along its lovely beaches. We visited as three generations of family and had plenty of space to gather together or scatter about. Good choice!
Much more spacious than we imagined!
My family and I needed a place to stay for my sister’s wedding and this place was by far the closest and most affordable option. There were 3 floors of living space and plenty of room for 3 couples and 2 kids. The ac units in all bedrooms made the place very comfortable and we appreciated two kitchens. We had more than 3 vehicles and did not have a problem fitting everyone in the driveway. I would definitely rent this property again if I needed a large place for family.
A lot to love about this spot.
We rented this house for 3 nights to be in Westerly for a friends wedding. We loved the convenience of the location to downtown and restaurants, we loved the size of the house, we loved how easy of a transaction it was with the owners, but the only thing we didn’t love was the cleanliness. Most rooms were ok, but both of the bathrooms really needed a deep cleaning. By the looks of the floors it had been a while. There were a few other interesting finds, but honestly if it weren’t for that stuff this would be a 5 star spot all the way. The owners seem to really care so hopefully they’ll take this review and really make sure their location is ready for guests when they check in. We thank them for our experience and opening their home to us.
There was more than enough room for our group of 6. Close walk to town and not a far drive to beaches. We really appreciated basic amenities like paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, and coffee being provided. The parking and outdoor faucet for Sandy feet were very convenient. The only problem we encountered was one a/c unit that we couldn't get to work, but there were plenty of fans and it wasn't a major issue. Overall a great stay and we would definitely stay again!
We have rented this property a few times and it suits our needs perfectly from the quiet neighborhood and proximity to the ocean. We have more than enough room to spread out and do crafts and the numerous sleeping quarters are more than adequate and having three bathrooms is a definite plus!!
Very beautiful home and town
The home was so much more than expected. It was on a beautiful street and such a sweet town. It had the cottage-style we were looking for. Very roomy and yet comforting. Can't wait to go back.
Savoy Book Store on Canal Street is wonderful.
Dinner at the Windjammer at Misquamicut Beach is a great experinece. Check out Jonathan Edwards Winery and Foxwoods Casino, each 20 minutes away!
