I’ve got XXL dimensions. That is, that my job is to accomodate large groups, let’s say up to 10 persons: groups of friends, large families, two families travelling with kids, etc. My neighbours in the building are the apartments Sagrada Familia 1, 3 and 4. I’m located in a characteristic and traditional Eixample building, that’s why I preserve distinctive original details of the distinguished flats in Barcelona.
I’ve got between three and four bedrooms (with a total of 10 beds), 2 bathrooms, a large living room and dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. In the Sagrada Familia 1 apartment there is also a tarrace, perfect for breakfast or dinner out in the open air.
There is plenty of natural light, air conditioning and Wi-Fi.
The Sagrada Familia, Antoni Gaudi’s architectonical masterpiece, is located three blocks from here. The Diagonal is less than 1 minute away. I’m located in the core of the Eixample, meaning more tranquility and a calmer pace than Barcelona’s Old Town. I enjoy an advantaged location to get to know the newest sites in Barcelona, the Agbar Tower, Els Encants (Barcelona’s biggest Flea & Street Market) or the Design Museum (DHUB).
Within 15 minutes walking, you have access to emblematical sites, like the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site, the Arco de Triunfo, the Casa de les Punxes, the Auditorium, the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, the Casa Batlló, the shops at the Paseo de Gràcia or the urban district 22@ Barcelona, the new tech and business hub in Barcelona.
The metro station Monumental is 3 minutes from the apartment. With the metro network you have all of Barcelona at your feet.
It was a pleasure to come back to the flat after a long day of sightseeing. The flat is in a walking distance to many attractions that Barcelona has to offer. The metro and bus service is also within walking distance and the location of the apartment is great. We have been to Barcelona before but found the experience to be exceptional to hotel stay we had prior. The customer service was great and the apartments was perfect for our group. I highly recommend!
We went to Barcelona with kids and we had a great stay in this apartment. Is big, comfortable and close to the most attractions of the city. The entire staff were also great, always greeting us with a smile and they were very helpful in attending all our needs.
I really recommend it for those who go in big groups ;)
Barcelona´s 19th century Eixample district is the birthplace of the Modernism movement where Antoni Gaudi is considered the leader. When looking to experience Barcelona´s world renowned reputation for leading 19th century architecture, this area is king. With all the Gaudi sites within reach like the grand and impressive famous Sagrada familia, the two famous Gaudi houses of La Perdera and Manzana de la Discordia, the sprawling Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, you´ll spend hours rambling along and looking upwards. This grid-patterned area was created in the 19th century to accommodate the overflowing population from old Barcelona; luckily this coincided with Barcelona’s golden age of architecture.. Gaudí, Puig I Cadafalch, Domènech I Montaner were employed by the wealthy to build townhouses, each one more daring than the last… The Eixample district is divided in two, the Eixample Dreta (right side) and Eixample Esquerra (left side), this divide is marked by Passeig de Gracia, a highly sophisticated shopping street. A large part of the Eixample’s attraction includes all the shops, restaurants, cafes and bars to be found… Passeig de Gracias alone will keep any visitor entertained for hours, but all the side streets are full of great stores, theatres, cafes with people everywhere, shopping, relaxing and enjoying an aperitif with friends and family…
