Description

Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday cottage in Rhosneigr - Trewyn Bach

A Newly Renovated Seaside Holiday Cottage That Sleeps Five.

Set in extensive grounds and yet within a few minutes' walk of the centre of the village, Trewyn Bach is a newly renovated traditional Welsh cottage with a wonderful view over a beautiful sweeping bay towards Rhoscolyn in the distance. There is direct access to the sandy beach below.

Trewyn Bach has three bedrooms, one with a double bed, another with twin beds and the third with a single bed. Bed linen is provided.

There is a well fitted kitchen with ceramic hob, built-in cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave. The washing machine is in the adjoining utility room. The bathroom has a shower/bath, washbasin and toilet and there is also a separate toilet and washbasin.

The light and airy sitting room is dual aspect and benefits from both the morning and the afternoon/evening sun. The view from the sitting room and the front patio is stunning and looking out over the bay when the sun is setting is magical.

The cottage is warm and cosy, insulated to the highest standards and double glazed, with additional secondary glazing.

Trewyn Bach has broadband wireless Internet access and there is a full HD TV with Freesat box.

There is plenty of parking in the house grounds for boats and vehicles. It is a no-smoking cottage. I am afraid that we are not able to accept pets in the cottage.

Really cosy and welcoming cottage

  • 4 of 5

We would defiantly recommend staying at this lovely cottage. The owners have created a comfortable and relaxing feel combined with the location of being right near the beach with excellent views we could not have asked for more. Having said that if the weather had been nicer we may have wanted to use the garden which we would have been unable to do so as the grass had not been cut and the bushs/nettles were quite overgrown. I think before we stayed it had been wet so it was probably difficult to do this, however I think they could make more of the valuable outside there is. We had a really great stay in Rhosneigr. The cottage location enabled us to explore all around the island with ease. Will defiantly be returning next year, we are already planning our next stay!

wonderful gem

  • 5 of 5

What a lovely cottage and in a wonderful place. We stayed for a week with our daughter and Granddaughter the cottage was perfect for our needs and we all loved the garden which is safe for a two year old. We were lucky with the weather and spent every day in the garden and the beach, very impressed with the beach, spotless and again safe for children. It was great that the cottage was down a private lane and we enjoyed the seclusion and peace and quiet. We are keen bird watchers and loved the birds visiting the garden and the gathering of crows and starlings on the telephone wires in the evening. My husband is a also a photographer and managed to get brilliant pictures of the sunset most nights right in front of the cottage, what a place, what a holiday, memories of happy holidays on Anglesey when I was young. Eateries in the village are fab especially the crepe house, the café above the surf shop and fish and chips from the chippy. Thanks to Elizabeth the owner for her professional dealings with me and we will be back.

Wonderful cottage on the beach!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this lovely cottage in June and October 2015. The cottage was lovely and met all our needs. It was clean and well looked after, and had a 'welcome pack' which included wine, tea, coffee, biscuits and milk - which was a nice touch. The correspondence with the owner was very friendly and she offered good advice about local restaurants.

The location of the cottage on the beach is just stunning! There are lovely views of the sea from the living room, however, within a couple of minutes you can be on the beach via a small path through the dunes. We loved the close proximity of the beach for early morning and evening walks.

We will definitely go there again!

Sarah and Pete, Derbyshire.

Long weekend break out of season

  • 4 of 5

This was a lovely cottage in a wonderful location. We arrived to a welcom tray of tea, coffee , biscuits and bottle of wine, We were lucky to get 3 fabulous sunsets , it was lovely to be able to sit r ight outside the cottage up to enjoy them. The sandy beach is just 2 mins from the cottage and we spent many hours wondering up and down collecting shells . Rhosneiger is small, but we found enough places to eat out and stop and have a coffee and cake. We would stay again.

This traditional cottage is set in extensive grounds and has a wonderful view over sand dunes and a sweeping sandy bay towards Rhoscolyn in the distance. Situated on the edge of the small town of Rhosneigr, popular for windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing and power boating, it is well placed for easy access to the rest of Anglesey and the mountains of Snowdonia on the mainland for walking and rock climbing. Rhosneigr is on the new Coastal Path around Anglesey. The centre of Rhosneigr village is just a few minutes' walk away. There is a Post Office, convenience store, chemist's shop and several restaurants and coffee shops, as well as some specialist shops for various water sports activities.
