A modern property situated near the Byre Theatre, the main streets in the centre of St. Andrews and the ruins of the ancient cathedral. We offer a double bedroom and a single bedroom. WiFi Internet service included. The living room has comfortable seating and a small sofa bed, Freeview television and a DVD player. French doors lead into the kitchen. The new fully fitted kitchen has a dining table with seating for 4 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with all major appliances including an electric hob cooker, microwave oven, a large fridge/freezer and combined washer dryer and a good supply of cooking utensils, plates and cutlery.
The new white bathroom suite has a shower over the bath and a constant supply of hot water.
All bed linen and towels are provided including a change for your stay. We provide everything needed for self catering.
The flat has full central heating and Security door access to building. Double-Glazing. Private parking.
We found the flat to be comfortable, spacious and well maintained, and in a great location. We really liked being so close to the centre of town but in a nice quiet area. Jim and Eileen were welcoming and very helpful. If we visit again we'd definitely choose to stay here.
Modern, clean, roomy and quiet. All the conveniences of home. We have stayed closer to the market area....this was so much quieter! If we had neighbors...never
heard them. No thru traffic and well maintained lawns. Last, but not least....a wonderful host:) Well played Jim! Highly recommended.
I stayed in this apartment for a week. It was a great location and within easy walking distance to the center of town. I did not have a car while in St Andrews but if you are traveling by car, there is plenty of parking for it. The apartment is located on the ground floor and was extremely clean, quiet and I felt very safe. My three most important standards when finding a place. The kitchen is amply equipped for cooking. Plus, there are several great restaurants nearby as well as a grocery store. I can't say enough good things about Jim, the owner. He was so very helpful from making travel suggestions to St Andrews and upon my arrival pointing out interesting parts of the town and where things were located. My only disappointment with the apartment is it didn't have the Internet....it wasn't offered which I didn't notice when booking. That was easily remedied by visiting the local library and coffee shops to access the Internet that way. I would highly recommend this apartment and should my travels take me back to St Andrews, I hope if is available!
Die Ferienwohnung in St. Andrews ist günstig und gleichzeitig ruhig gelegen, die Innenstadt ist zu Fuß in 10 Minuten zu erreichen.
Für größere Einkäufe ist ein Auto allerdings hilfreich, da die Supermärkte etwas weiter entfernt sind.
Die Angaben zur Ausstattung sind zutreffend. Die Wohnung ist dank Waschmaschine und anderen Haushaltsgeräten für einen längeren Aufenthalt gut geeignet. Mittlerweile verfügt sie auch über schnelles W-Lan.
Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter über Mail war freundlich und die Antworten kamen immer sehr schnell. Die Übergabe zu Beginn und zum Ende unseres Aufenthalts war unkompliziert. Der Vermieter hat sich nach Abnahme der Wohnung (wir mussten bereits früh fahren und haben die Schlüssel hinterlegt) sofort per Mail gemeldet und uns die Rücküberweisung der Kaution angekündigt.
