Out of This World

We stayed at the property in the run up to our wedding in Malta. There were 15 of us all from the UK and the farmhouse was perfect for what we required.

The photograph's really do not do this property justice, it is stunning. Ideally located with a supermarket at the bottom of the road which was really convenient.

We paid extra for WiFi and air conditioning and were very glad that we did. Each bedroom has an air conditioning unit with a personal control for each room. The WiFi was good within the house but we couldn't get it in the garden which is where we spent most of our time.

As mentioned the outdoor area was where we spent most of our time. There was plenty of outdoor seating, a bar area with refrigerator, BBQ, pizza oven, pool, football and volleyball court.

We did have a little issue with our security deposit which we paid in cash on arrival. The cleaners that the letting company used tried to tell the letting company that we gave them the security deposit as tip, which was absolutely not the case. However this was swiftly dealt with by Roseanne, who was brilliant.

The whole experience really added to the excitement of our wedding and would recommend this villa to large parties who like to entertain...you will not be disappointed.

Amazing Villa in a Beautiful Location

I can't rate this place highly enough, and the photos don't do it justice. We celebrated a 30th birthday here with 13 friends, and the villa suited us perfectly. It would also be good for family occasions too though.

The villa has all of the modern conveniences needed, as well as pool, jacuzzi, outdoor pizza oven, BBQ, and a football and volleyball field. The villa isn't located in a built-up area, so getting your own transport is advisable, although this meant we didn't need to worry about making too much noise. Also, the location makes getting around the rest of the island ideal. The rooms aren't huge, but are well furnished and comfortable, and the large common rooms more than make up for this.

Further, the local agency, Malta Letting, were a pleasure to deal with. As they were response and helpful in all our communications.

This suburb of San Pawl il-Bahar owes its beginning to Punico-Roman times serving as a port until it was silted up some of most interesting sites are:

The Chapel of St. Paul made welcome

Tradition holds that it is built on the site of Publius’ Villa when he was governor of Malta where he welcomed St. Paul and his companions. It was built in the 17th century. An extensive complex comprising a villa, oil and wine presses were discovered on the site, an interesting stone was found with the word “Paulus” engraved on it.

Church of Margaret

It was built in the 17th century and extended in 1849. The titular painting is the work of Dr. M. Bellanti.

The Parish Church

The first stone of the church built in a Neo-Romanesque style and dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary was laid on 7/02/57. The paintings are the work of Chev. Emvin Cremona, whereas the figure on the facade was designed by the sculpture Ganni Bonnici.
