Want to book a lovely vacation near North Sea beach and dunes?
Book the Sandcastle. A nice, spacious vacation home with lots of privacy in a villa park in Noordwijk on the coast.
It's a quiet, nicely situated green luxury park. Dunes and beach close by.

House: upstairs 3 bedrooms (1 bedroom with double bed and small flat screen TV, 2 bed rooms with each 2 x 1 person beds.
Nice living rooms with large dining table, 2 couches, big flatscreen tv, stereo, and nice new kitchen with dish washer, combi-oven, water cooker, Senseo and regular coffee maker, etc. Downstairs is also a bathroom with a bath tub, toilet and double sink.
The house is freestanding with a big yard with lots of privacy, 2 terraces for your barbecue fun. There is a big wooden picnic table and some plastic garden furniture.

Surroundings: the park is between Noordwijk and Noordwijkerhout in a green area in the middle of the flower fields. So April and May are lovely, everything is blossoming. The park (White Raven) is also on the edge of the dunes. You walk to the beach on a beautiful path (1 km). A great place for biking and walking.
Noordwijk is a lively coastal place with all year long activities, many restaurants and shops (also open on Sunday). Less than 10 min. Drive.
Noordwijkerhout is a cozy village with lots of shops and supermarkets. Few min drive.
Nice old cities are: Haarlem (20 min), Leiden (15 min), Amsterdam (40 min), The Hague (30 min).
Why this house? Because guests are always enthusiastic.
It's a lovely place for the whole family.

Excellent property near tulips, beach and beauty.

We had three full days in this beautiful property which is an easy drive to Delft, Keukenhof and the beach. We appreciated the peaceful location and well equipped and clean house and the information provided by the host was excellent.

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Im Haus war alles was man benötigt, Küche, Wohnzimmer und Badezimmer mit moderner Einrichtung und grossem Garten.

Great stay overall

Our stay at the House was great overall, it was clean, very well equipped, had a great garden and the location was also very conveniant. Communication with the Host Carla was also very good and efficient! All information were sent beforehand and made the start of the vacation easy. Heating was also very good and quick and the only small drawback was the mattress in the double bed, which was very hard. But we can recommend the House and Carla and would come again!

Im Großen und Ganzen okay.

Der Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin hat super geklappt, das Haus war ruhig gelegen. Positive Punkte: Das Badezimmer, Waschmaschine und Trockner, die Küche (fast alles schon vorhanden, Gewürze usw.) und der Garten, die Geschäfte in der näheren Umgebung und die Möglichkeit mit dem Hund anzureisen. Negative Punkte: Das gesamte Haus war nicht unbedingt sehr gut gepflegt, wenn man die benachbarten Häuser betrachtet fehlt hier eine grundlegende Renovierung, die Bäume über den Stellplätzen (zwei) versauen das Auto (also Autoliebhaber wie ich bekommen da Bauchschmerzen). Die Einrichtung (Betten, Schränke) inklusive den Gartenmöbeln könnten mal erneuert werden. Der Strand ist 20-25 Minuten entfernt, also ohne Auto oder Fahrrad sehr unschön. Fazit: für den aktuellen Pflegezustand waren die 9 Tage zu teuer. (Ca. 1500 Euro)

Wie haben mehr erwartet

Die Umgebung in Noordwijk ist toll. Wenn es nicht regnet, kann man alles bequem mit den Rad erreichen. Und auch die Entfernung zu Amsterdam oder Den Haag ist nicht zu groß, um eines Tagesausflug zu machen. Von der Unterkunft haben wir mehr erwartet. Abgesehen von Wohn-Essbereich ist das Haus nicht sehr gemütlich. Die Schlafzimmer nur mit dem Nötigsten eingerichtet. Die Treppe nach oben und der Fußboden knarzen sehr laut, sodass unabhängig voneinander ins Bettgehen schwer fällt. Die Fenster können nur geöffnet werden, wenn es nicht regnet, da sonst der ganze Boden nass wird. Ein Pluspunkt ist das Bad. Das scheint relativ neu zu sein. Die Küche ist mit einigen Extras ausgestattet. Leider aber nicht mit ordentlichem Geschirr und guten Schneidmessern. Meistens haben wir von den großen Plastiktellern gegessen. Leider war einiges auch nicht ordentlich gereinigt, z.B. Kaffeemaschinen. Es ist gut, dass eine Waschmaschine vorhanden ist. Leider ist uns erst später aufgefallen, dass der Gummiring von innen bereits schimmelte. Carla ist eine freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Aber wir werden diese Unterkunft wohl nicht wieder besuchen.
