Apartment Gentianes is a 2 bedroom self-catered property sleeping 4 upto people with balconies giving you amazing views of Pleney & the Vallée d’Aulps. Located opposite the Pleney Telecabine, the apartment is ski-in-ski-out and is less than 50 metres from the town centre.

The apartment features two large bedrooms, one of which has a balcony over looking the mountains. One room has a fixed double bed and the other can be configured as either 2 x singles or 1 double. There is a open plan well equipped kitchen-diner with fridge, freezer, oven, induction hob, microwave, dish washer, utensils, & dining table. The lounge area has a large comfy sofa and armchair, and a flat screen TV & Blu-Ray DVD player to keep you entertained. The newly renovated bathroom features a designer sink and rain shower.

Mountain bikers can ride straight back to the chalet from the Pleney Trails.

​Hello and a warm welcome to Chalet Les Avoudrues, family run apartments and chalets located on the Pleney piste in the heart of the beautiful mountain village of Morzine in the French Alps. Now a third generation family business, we were actually one of the first families to offer self catered accommodation in Morzine nearly 50 years ago!

We offer newly renovated ski-in-ski-out apartments located at the bottom of the Pleney piste directly opposite the ski lifts, within a thirty second walk of the town centre and a three minute walk of the Super Morzine telecabine which connects you to the vast Avoriaz and Portes Du Soleil ski areas. They are in the perfect location for both winter and summer mountain holidays...

We also have several chalets sleeping between 8-12 people, in amazing locations and with outdoor Jacuzzi's.

Morzine is a typical French mountain village full of charm and situated within the vast Portes du Soleil linked area offering over 650km of marked pistes and limitless off-piste. There are runs for all levels of skiers/boarders and good selection of restaurants and apre-ski bars. In the summer, Morzine and the Portes Du Soleil offer walkers and mountain bikers some of the world’s best trails/terrain, boasting a staggering 650km of marked trails. The resort hosts many events during both the winter and summer seasons and there are plenty of other activities to fill the hours should you not be skiing/boarding. These include ice-diving, snowmobiling, night sledging, snowshoeing, shopping, ice skating and the swimming/spa centre.

Fantastic location and great apartment

We had a fantastic family holiday staying at this great apartment. It is spacious and very comfortable in a great location close to lifts, restaurants and shops. Charlotte and her family made us very welcome and provided great information on the resort and transfers. We look forward to returning soon.

Best family holiday ever!

We had one of the best holidays we have ever had whilst staying at this apartment. Ric and Charlotte, who own and manage the property, were very welcoming and were able to provide us with lots of useful information about Morzine. Perfect people to rent a holiday property from, as any problems or questions we had we could easily contact them. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. We are a family of five (2 adults and 3 children) and it was definitely big enough. The views are great from the balcony and our children loved the Luge right on the doorstep. The location is excellent, 2 minute walk from centre of town and restaurants, but also 30 second walk from one of the main ski lifts. There is also plenty of parking space. We enjoyed visiting Le Lac du Montriond seeing the waterfalls and late one evening, spectacular fireworks. Our children loved all the outdoor activities (tree climbing, zip wire across the valley, spectacular walks, horse riding, ice skating and visiting the local swimming pool). There are also plenty of good restaurants, although some are quite pricey. Overall one of the best family holidays we have had, we thoroughly recommend it!. Our children are begging for us to go back next year!

Perfect accommodation in perfect location

Spacious, very clean and really comfortable- we were family of 3 adults, but 6 would easily feel very comfortable here. Charlotte and Ric are so welcoming and helpful, yet unobtrusive. The apartment has everything you need, well equipped kitchen, comfy duvets, and plenty of cupboards to store everyone's stuff away. It is so close to the lifts for the Morzine ski range there is no effort to ski, yet it is so secluded and quiet, surrounded by trees- we woke to the lovely sounds of birds every morning. The walk to the lifts for Avoriaz ski range is also only 10 mins, and with shops and the best bakers only 5 mins away its location is superb. The building is well built and to a high finish, with thick walls and floors so you do not hear others. It is a great find, which we will be returning to next year.
