A Peaceful Haven In The Heart Of The City

Well Court Apartment consists of a double bedroom, living room/kitchen and shower room. It has recently been completely refurbished. The double bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe dressing table & mirror. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, oven, washer/dryer and all kitchen utensils and dining equipment. There is a tv/dvd, sofa, dining table and four chairs. The bathroom has a large walk in shower.

Check in from 15:00 , Check Out 11:00.

The property is in a historic building which was built by the then owner of the Scotsman who wanted to build decent places to live for working people. With places to read and pray it was ahead of the times.

What makes this apartment unique

The setting of the property is perfect next to the Water of Leith and very, very peaceful yet so central. The stone work is so thick once you are inside the peace and quiet is lovely you would not know you are in an apartment.

Lovely village location

Comfortable, clean apartment in a lovely village setting, Dean Village. Apartment had everything we needed and Lewis had all the check in information readily available. Location made it easy to walk to many of the attractions we wanted to see.

Fantastic Location

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The unit is located in a 1890s development along the Waters of Leith, it is clean with modern furnishings and a great atmosphere. Pretty much everything in central Edinburgh is a short walk away. The host was very communicative and helpful upon our arrival; the bed and couch were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with what we needed to prepare coffee and meals. Couldn't have been more pleased and would stay here again in the future.

Charming historic setting does not disappoint .

Overall experience was incredible. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed staying in this quaint historic property. The property itself was clean and spacious and had every amenity needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was warm as the weather was a bit damp while we visited. The internet worked well. It was easy to access the main tourist sites via walking and we enjoyed the paths in the area around the apartment as well. We especially appreciated being picked up near the train station and being taken to the property. We loved the city and hope to be able to visit again.

Great place

I was so happy here, comfortable. It is picturesque and not often that I stay at a place where tourists come to take pictures of where I'm staying. The pathway along Leith is so beautiful. Lewis was right there to greet and welcome me and he was a great person to communicate with. I would stay there again anytime I was in Edinburgh.

Very, very clean and all in order and as described. Internet worked perfectly. Nice TV I used a few hours. One day I was so worn out from all my traveling I just stayed in all day and that was enjoyable. Great place.

good, clean appartment at a nice location

The appartment was very clean, comfortable and warm. It has all of the necessities that you would expect of such an appartment. Getting to the appartment was quite easy with the instructions of Lewis. Upon arrival he met us and was very friendly and informative.

The appartment is located in a small appartment block not too far from several of the main attractions (approx 10-15 min walking) as well as the supermarkets. Definately a good appartment to stay in Edinburgh

Location

Car: not necessary

Well Court Apartment is set in one of the oldest and most picturesque areas of Edinburgh the Dean Village. The building itself has recently been renovated by Edinburgh World Heritage and sits nestled on the edge of the Water of Leith. The apartment is peaceful & tranquil whilst only 10 mins walk to Princes Street and 5 mins walk to the Dean Gallery and The Gallery of Modern Art.

Directions to Well Court

From the West End take the A90 (Queensferry Street) and head out of town, turn left onto Bells Brae and then right onto Dean Path, as Dean Path veers to the right take a left onto Damside, the name is written on the road and a sign is on the railing. Well Court is on your left. Go under the archway and into the courtyard no 35 is in the far right hand corner.
