About Candis and Scott Kraning
My husband and I have lived in Greenville for almost 23 years. I grew up in Vancouver B.C, Canada and recently became a U.S. Citizen. Most of the year I am very busy teaching first grade at Augusta Circle Elementary school.
Candis and Scott Kraning purchased this House in 2008
Why Candis and Scott Kraning chose Greenville
We live just around the corner from the cottage. My parents live in the cottage seasonally as they come to visit us from British Columba. This property is well furnished, cozy and very quiet. We will be on hand to help with anything.
What makes this House unique
As Greenville is getting very popular and busy, the cottage provides a quiet rest away from downtown, but not to far to enjoy the shops and restaurants. It is located within 1 1/2 miles from Furman University and the Swamp Rabbit Trail which runs for 5 miles into downtown Greenville.

Scouting the area
A quaint small home/cottage setting in a quiet area but accessible to all we needed to do in the Greenville area. Enjoyed the private deck surrounded by trees. An easy ride to Hendersonville, NC from this location as well. Candis was most helpful and immediately responsive to questions. She was quick to provide tips on the area. We enjoyed our stay.
We really enjoyed staying at this lovely home! It was so cozy and tastefully decorated. It is in a covenient location to enjoy Greenville and Paris Mt. We would definitely recommend staying at this lovely home!
Thank you so much for letting our future guests know about the proximity to the area. Please come and stay with us again.
The neighborhood was private and very nice.
Overall everything was good. There was no cable. We did have good internet . The bedrooms upstairs was not cool the first night. We had to use the window units constantly to keep the rooms cool.
Perfect Cottage in Greenville
This place was immaculate. The house was very clean with all the necessary accommodations. The upstairs rooms were very nice with their own a/c units to make sure it was not to hot upstairs. Check in was easy and our hosts were very quick to get back to me with any questions I had. They left a couple menus of local places to eat, we chose Tandem, in Travelers Rest which was not very far away. I really did enjoy my stay and had a great time in Greenville. Hope to stay there again.
