Perfect Location in the Heart of Rome
The property is in a terrific location with the daily market and evening entertainment and nightlife.
Many restaurants surrounding the piazza and mini market in the edge for beer, wine and food supplies.
The ambiance is awesome and within easy walking distance to many of Rome’s attractions. Don’t be worried about noise, as the high quality windows will drain out any evening or early morning noise. The manager was very helpful and the apartment was a really good size and well equipped. The a/c worked flawlessly and the rooms were quite large for 2 people. I loved the daily market and evening music.
There is a taxi stand 1’block from the apartment.
The only thing that surprised us was that the ad said 1st floor. We were expecting to be able to walk out......not a problem, but this apartment is NOT on the ground floor. 2 flights up, It’s 20 steps up.
This was not an issue for us, but people should know.
Great place. Would definitely recommend this place . You can’t beat the atmosphere, market, and available restaurants.
hello, glad you enjoyed your stay. In Europe, 1st floor is not ground floor...
The location CANNOT be beat.
We really enjoyed our stay in Camp dei Fiori. The location CANNOT be beat. It was lovely to wake up, step out the door, and enjoy a cappuccino. The walks to the Trevi Fountain, Vatican, and Coliseum are relatively short and enjoyable. The apartment itself was big - perfect for our family that includes little children. It was clean and had everything we could want - even a cell phone with a hot spot we could carry around with us. We didn't find the noise from the street to be too bothersome since the loud music stopped before 11so. We also don't mind a little city noise - there definitely are people outside well into the night, but it did not bother us. Hearing the city life outside the window is part of the charm of this place. I think we ate at almost every restaurant in the square, and we visited every market stall. This place made our stay in Rome really special.
Great cherry bright and comfortable room
Great location but noisy into the morning hours. Bright and cheerful, comfortable bed. Great feel to be on the piazza with hustle and bustle.
If you are looking for location, this is it.....otherwise
Location was perfect for what we wanted. Also, the cell phone we were given to use was quite helpful, especially since that is what was used for internet.
The home itself leaves alot to be desired. The mattresses were not as comfortable as stated, when we asked. The apartment was not very clean, which is probably why we dealt with ants for the entirety of the trip, cob webs hanging from the ceiling, light bulbs were out in all the rooms, stuff just randomly thrown in a dining room closet. Dishes were all chipped, new glasses were left on the counter in a box, for us to wash and use. Pot was not big enough to make 1 lb of pasta. The go to person, was not helpful at all and either answered, hours later or not at all. There was not a garbage pail in the home, we found a bucket and used that. Washing the dishes was like taking a bath, water just poured, and soaked you. An easy fix, put a spigot with a filter on it. I can go on and list other things, but as you can it wasn't a very positive location. It makes me wonder why people are charged a euro fee for cleaning, when the apartment was not cleaned.
we are sorry to hear that. We have never had a negative comment about the mattressess, I suppose this is your point of view but previous guests did not find them uncomfortable. We have never receveid from you any complaint regarding the cleaning, not at check in nor during your stay, only at check out: you could have contacted us and we would have sent you an extra cleaning. Same thing for the garbage pail or the pot: If there was something missing you could have told us; not every guest has the same needs so if there is something missing that we can provide, we will. We are very responsive but we cannot help if you don't inform us during your stay or upon arrival
The location of this apartment in Campo de' Fiori is ideal to access Rome both by foot or by taxi. It was fun to experience the market and the spontaneous music that happened at night. There is a grocery store and excellent restaurants just steps away. The apartment has a good kitchen and a clothing washer.
The owner has put in very good quality windows, which do a tremendous job reducing the market noise, but the lively bands in the evening were noticeable. It was not a problem for our adult kids traveling with us.
For future travelers who expect to use the extra bed or fold out couch, I would ask if the mattresses had been replaced. As another traveler noted, new mattresses would have made a big difference.
The rental management company was very helpful and provided a cell phone for the duration of the visit. This meant that those who did not have a local phone plan could use the apartment phone to navigate the city and make phone calls.
Great service from them pre arrival, greeting you and responding when things came up. The space had modern appliances and a little wash machine. Great place for the value.
You are in the heart of Renaissance Rome but not only: on every street corner you can see many traces of ancient Rome.
The apartment is located directly on the characteristic square of Campo de Fiori, where since 1869 a characteristic fruit and flower market has been held every morning. In just a few minutes, strolling through alleys steeped in history, you arrive at the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. From this strategic area, you can easily reach other extraordinary places on foot such as Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza di Spagna, Trevi fountain, St. Peter's Basilica, the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums.
Furthermore, it is sufficient to cross Ponte Sisto to explore the secrets of Trastevere and get a taste of authentic Roman life.
The area is full of bars, markets, restaurants, shops, wine bars and trattorias.
