First floor apartment with sitting/dining room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom

Buttermere is available to let all year round for both full weeks and short breaks. The property sleeps 2 in a bedroom with a king-size bed. There is a sitting/dining room, modern fitted kitchen and slate tiled bathroom.

An allocated parking space is provided at the front of the property.

Ambleside is a great place from which to explore the Lake District. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés to eat out in if cooking is not your thing when on holiday. If you need to buy some more walking equipment you will not be disappointed by the selection of shops in Ambleside.

Notes: Buttermere is a first floor apartment and is up one flight of steps. The prices for lets of LESS THAN A WEEK will ONLY BE CORRECT when a 3 night weekend let or a 4 night week day let are selected. Great apartment, great location

The apartment was very clean, well equipped, cosy & warm. Dedicated parking space was a bonus in Ambleside. Location was convenient as it was only a few minutes walk into the centre of Ambleside. Owners live locally & were friendly & helpful. We shall definitely try to return here in the future.

Fantastic

This was a late and surprise booking for my husband's birthday and the owners were lovely allowing a two night booking for the occasion. The flat was welcoming, warm and homely really making us wish we could stay for longer. The flat is also in a great location to get to the shops etc. in Ambleside. Hopefully we will be able to come back soon. Thank you.

Absolutely Perfect

Everything you need, to make your stay welcome. Totally surprised both were on hand if needed a rare quality some hotels can learn a lot from these wonderful people. Thank you both However can not say much for home and away, took ages to find a contact number, which is not available on their app received final details midweek into stay and a reminder saying your checking out at... we already knew when I called I was given a number for me to call, and within a minute a survey to ask was everything fine. Apologies but thank you Avril & Peter perfect break made our anniversary and birthday special. I would recommend very highly.

Damp

We would not stay again due to the damp smell that was in the bathroom.

Owner's Response: Regret that guests had a problem with the apartment. However, we must add that there is no sign of damp anywhere, and in the bathroom there is an extractor that runs continuously. Peter and Avril

Excellent property

Stayed here for a 3 night mid week break and was very impressed. Excellent location in Ambleside which was great for our walks. Apartment was brilliant and had everything we needed - was even provided with milk, fresh coffee and bottle of wine! V. impressed and would definitely book again.

Buttermere Apartment

Stayed here for the last week in November 2015. It was everything we hoped it would be. Warm, cosy and fully equipped with everything we needed.

The apartment was immaculate and very comfortable. It's location is perfect and the parking is a real plus.

We will definitely be staying again. And the bottle of wine awaiting our arrival was a very professional touch.
