A superb little gem !!!

Buttermere apartment is just a lovely little place to stay while having a long break in the Lakes. It is cosy, warm and inviting, well furnished and the attention to detail is spot on and is a bonus to anyone who stays in the apartment. Our weekend was a peaceful and relaxing one and this apartment was a super base for our holiday in the Lakes. We honestly cant wait to stay in Buttermere apartment again in the future. Thankyou to the hosts for a fab break.

Clean with everything you need during your stay. Just need to bring a toothbrush, everything else is provided for. Quiet location.

Fabulous little apartment in a great location

This is our second stay at this property and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. The owners, Peter and Avril are very welcoming and communicating with them is very easy. The property is furnished to a very high standard and is extremely well equipped. The bed is really comfy and there is a huge bathroom with a full size bath which is great for soaking in after a long walk on the fells. The property is in a quiet location on the edge of the town and benefits from having an allocated parking space, which is a huge bonus in Ambleside. I really can't think of any way it could be improved.

Lake District Holiday

Buttermere Apartment was a delight. Tucked away from the noisy streets of Ambleside it has every facility that you could wish for to live comfortably. Peter and Avril met us on arrival and they had the place sparkling. The apartment has it's own car space and we walked through the town easily without the stop-start of driving. Access to the wider Lake District is easy from Kirkstone Foot and we wandered far and wide. A great place to stay.
