Ambleside is a great place from which to explore the Lake District. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés to eat out in if cooking is not your thing when on holiday. If you need to buy some more walking equipment you will not be disappointed by the selection of shops in Ambleside.

Beautiful

You won't find a better located or well appointed apartment in the Lakes. Modern and comfortable Buttermere is a delight which has everything, including some nice surprises that will make your holiday get off to a great start. We loved it and highly recommend it.

Wonderful!

This apartment was wonderful... cosy, comfortable, clean and everything you could need or want. The welcome treats were a lovely touch! The only problem we had was that it was too hot at night. There was no heating on, and we slept with the window open all night... and yet we were still too hot. We'd love to stay again but would need to find a way to keep cooler at night. Thinner duvet perhaps?

Good place to stay

A great venue with those little extras eg - tea, storage boxes, IKEA bag ties, herbs, spices, S&P, books and videos that made our stay easy and more enjoyable.

The accommodation was very clean and well appointed. Only 5 mins walk from centre of Ambleside - though quite a steep path. Pleasant view across the valley. Not directly overlooked. Close off road parking.

They have added to very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

A superb little gem !!!

Buttermere apartment is just a lovely little place to stay while having a long break in the Lakes. It is cosy, warm and inviting, well furnished and the attention to detail is spot on and is a bonus to anyone who stays in the apartment. Our weekend was a peaceful and relaxing one and this apartment was a super base for our holiday in the Lakes. We honestly cant wait to stay in Buttermere apartment again in the future. Thankyou to the hosts for a fab break.
