What makes this house unique

Abruzzo has been described as the 'green heart of Italy', a hidden jewel in the centre of Italy. The landscape is made up of 125km of sandy beaches where the warm waters of the Adriatic sea make an ideal summer beach holiday, the rolling green hills abundant with olive groves and vineyards make for the most wonderful country walking and exploring holidays at any time of the year.

The Appenini mountains run through the centre of the region so skiing in winter is very popular, there are many excellent ski resorts to choose from. One third of this region is National Park, many rare species of animals, flora and fauna are abundant and thriving in this natural habitat.

Abruzzo is renowned amongst Italians for its excellent cuisine - local produce organically farmed is used to cook the authentic, traditional Abruzzesi dishes served in the local restaurants and trattoria's.

Relaxing Italian getaway

  • 5 of 5

We had a very nice relaxing week in Citta Sant Angelo. Friendly people, convenient shopping, restaurants, Cantina, safe safe town, hills to explore and a beach close by. My wife and I had our batteries recharged after that week and can't wait to return.
