One-bedroom, ground floor apartment within walking distance of the beach
The new Esplanade Court holiday apartment is set right on Paignton seafront.
The completely refurbished 1 bedroom apartment is on the ground floor and is presented in excellent condition with gardens and its own private patio area, parking and use of the outdoor swimming pool.
The apartment is open all year round and comprises of hall, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 double sofa bed in the bedroom and 1 double bed settee in the lounge. The shower room has been completely refurbished and features underfloor heating and a washing machine.
The apartment sleeps 6 and families are welcome. The apartment is non-smoking and sorry, but no pets please.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
The apartment is set right behind the Inn on the Green, a family pub and restaurant on the seafront.

We live in Bridgwater in Somerset and started investing in Property in 2008. Koshy is a Consultant in the NHS and Beulah is a conference Manager. We have 4 adorable children the oldest 13 and the youngest 2.

What makes this Apartment unique
The Property has been totally refurbished to a very high standard. We feel that it needed to be of a standard that we ourselves would love to use on holiday. It has all the modern facilities one would expect. We have Holiday Home Management managing the property down at Paignton who look after the property , so we consider ourselves really lucky.

Lovely modern apartment
We enjoyed our stay in this ground floor apartment which is in a quiet area but only a few minutes from the sea front. It is ideal when travelling by bus and train with shops and restaurants nearby as well. The outside patio is a bonus especially in the summer, definitely one to return to.

Disappointing (won't be returning)
This apartment had the potential to be a lovely place to stay but looked tired, and poorly maintained - mis-matched furniture in the lounge/dinette; grubby looking oven trays/cooking trays that didn't inspire me to cook with them; untidy pile of bedding and towels in the wardrobe which blocked the hanging space (we had to tidy them up before we could hang my dresses up); shower was ridiculously small; white garden chairs hadn't been cleaned for ages - dirty slime covered things that we chose not to even bother with; apartment's garden was a mess - no flowers, more weeds than anything else - but it could have been a little haven of colour if it had been properly looked after and planted (we were tempted to go off to the local garden centre and sort it out ourselves - it was such a pity to look at it!); on arrival it was apparent that cleaners had left items belonging to the previous guests lying out on the floor outside the apartment door. We didn't feel that the owners/management company really cared about this property - it was a real disappointment. Its only saving grace was the double bed which was beautifully comfortable - shame about the rest of the apartment.
Excellent location and everything you need
The location of the flat is perfect, few minute walk to the beach, shops and local restaurants/pubs. Lots of attractions and beaches nearby to visit. The flat is well equipped particularly for those with babies and small children. The only disappointment for us was the soundproofing as could hear other people in adjacent properties especially a chiming clock which went off every 15mins day and night!
Quiet and central
Arrived on day of the air show.Awesome wingwalkers wooshed overhead as we lost our way through the streets after arriving at the station. Rang the caretaker Paul and he redirected us and met us with the keys and showed us the apartment. Photos showed it better than in reality but it looked clean and everything was there that we needed.Wasn't until you looked'under the surface' that the cleaning let the apartment down.garden was very grubby and we had to clean the outside table and chairs thou never sat outside as there was so much to do on our holiday.difficult to hang washing as tree overhung it.We went on lots of buses ,ferries and trains and did lots of walking.
Inn on the Green were caretaker works is in the car park in front of the apartments and over the road is the beach so very handy for children and you can walk either way to Brixham or Torquay.
We had wi fi for only the first 7 days then it went off.Paul got a technician out but he said because it wasn't bt he couldn't fix it and Paul would contact the owner.It never came back on
Convenient and comfortable.
My husband and I very much enjoyed our 4 week stay in this apartment, having arrived in an exhausted state after nearly 30 hours of travelling from Australia. It was comfortable, well equipped and central to everywhere we wanted to go (without a car). We were particularly pleased to have the small, private outside area, with clothesline. Thank you Paul for your help and kindness. We would be very happy to stay there again.
Well appointed, clean and in good situation.
Made very welcome on arrival by Paul. We were impressed by the facilities: we didn't expect to have two tvs! Location was perfect for us. Security and car parking arrangements were good. We were not in Torbay to visit attractions so we can't comment on these. We would recommend the property to friends or family as value for money accommodation.
Paignton lies in the centre of the magnificent sweep of Torbay, it is one of the premier resorts in the area with its fine sands which stretch for a mile from Hollicombe Head in the north to Pagination's small but busy harbour in the south.
Goodrington Sands is nearby and is one of Torbay's most popular beaches. Quay West Water Park is only 5 minutes from the apartment by car. Paignton pier has a variety of traditional seaside entertainments for everyone.
Paignton offers enjoyment and a relaxing atmosphere for all ages, with its pubs, cinemas, cream teas, ice creams, crazy golf and water sports. Very close by are 2 well established coarse fishing lakes which have a variety of fish, including big carp so don't forget your rod!
Also at the heart of Paignton are the local shops, restaurants and amusement arcades plus Paignton Zoo, which is one of the most popular attractions in Torbay.
Torquay is also known as the English Riviera and is only a short distance away. It has endless activities and a bustling night life. Brixham is a quaint old fishing village that offers leisurely strolls around its historic harbour and beautiful views and coastal walks. All these places and many more are close to the apartment, which can be reached by car, bus and train.
