Charming cottage-style detached house with character, set in a quiet small Close just away from the centre of this small seaside town. Lovely views to the Axe Valley and further to the sea. Conveniently a 5-minute walk to a good selection of local shops, cafes, inns and restaurants, a little further to the beach, Esplanade, harbour and golf course.

Spectacular cliff top walks to nearby Beer picturesque fishing village and via the Undercliff to Lyme Regis with its famous Cobb.

A truly quaint and attractive holiday home.

The cottage was clean and well equips also plenty of space

The thing that spoils it was that the garden had no clear paths and very uneven but the worst was the smell of the rotten fruit which was left on the ground and just rotted

Comfortable small home with most equipment.

We would have given this property a higher rating had we NOT had a car. Parking was a major issue. The space in front of the house is too small for most cars as there is no turning space. You finish up with scratches al over your car. The additional space advised by the owner was inaccessible for the entire period of our stay as he has apparently let the driveway to another tenant who made it clear that they were not prepared to move their car to allow access to the space allocated. We will not be returning to this property as parking is a major issue.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the feedback for the Nook and I am pleased you found this comfortable and well equipped. We are sorry that you had problems with the parking. The driveway leading to the second parking space at The Nook is owned by a neighbour. They are obliged by the legal agreement drawn up at the time of purchase, to allow access to the space at all times. The driveway has not been rented out. Thank you for raising this as it will allow the owner to clarify with the neighbour the exact terms of the agreement and we are sorry you were inconvenienced. Milkbere Holidays
