Beautiful Peaceful Relaxing
Enjoyed our visit! Great waterfront access. Huge patio! Everyone we met was super nice. The kitchen could use some new cookware, but we were able to make do. The living room furniture is large and makes the space a little tight, but it’s comfortable. We will stay again!
We had a great time. The cabin is well decorated and cozy. The porch and view of the river are beautiful. Would absolutely stay again.
Peaceful and Cozy
We enjoyed our stay and loved visiting Wimberley for the first time!
The cabin was cozy and Natalie was helpful to accomodate.
She responded quickly to assist with a heating an internet issue and offered a quick solution!
The grounds were serene, the riverfront was pretty, and we often saw deer frolicking around. A wonderful trip.
A Great Getaway!!!
What a wonderful place! The cabin was cozy and just right for a New Years mini vacation. A little chilly since we were dealing the coldest temps of the year but we loved it!!! Can't wait to go back when the weather warms to take advantage of the river and outdoors.
Beautiful Cabin, but with a slow pace of life.
My wife, daughter, and I all stayed this past Christmas in this beautiful cabin. We had such an amazing time! The cabin is within walking distance of the cute little town, right on the creek side, and was extremely cozy with a fire going most nights. They have about 30 deer and a few small bucks on the property, it was cute for our little one to interact with. We had a lot of fun as a family in this cute little cabin. With that being said, there was a few things to know upfront. First, there is no vent cover in the fireplace, which means in the winter the entire cabin is freezing even with all three heaters going, if you don't have a fire going also. Second, the tv and internet are on a wifi system so there is a chance that you will lose connection to both the tv and Internet like we did a couple of times and we personally had to fix the issue ourselves. Third, if you need anything from the owners it will take a long time for that request to be answered. We had two situations occur and both took several hours to take care of. You have to realize that everything in this town runs on a slower pace of life. Which is good, if that is what you are needing, just know that coming into this area. Fourth, the entire town is shut down on Christmas Day (everything). So know, stock up on groceries, wood, etc. before coming on a holiday like Christmas. With all of that being said, my family and I would come back and would tell others about this cute little property.
Such a cute quaint clean little cabin with nice upgrades and pretty views.
We wanted to getaway for a mini vaca before Christmas to leave behind the hustle and bustle and city lights. This place and area was just what we were looking for. The area was quiet and we enjoyed all the wildlife especially all the deer. We threw out corn in the area in front of the cabin and watched them graze....it was wonderful. We took full advantage of the fire pit and the porch and patio area which is much larger than expected. The cabin is a very short distance from the Wimberley Cafe which has some of the best breakfast (especially the blueberry pancakes) and walked around in the town's shops. Took a short drive to the Driftwood Estates Winery where we had a wonderful time and then ate dinner at Milagro's Mexican Restaurant. The food was really good and so were the ritas. We loved this little place and would definitely recommend it to others.
