Elegant, private, pristine two bedroom bungalow/guest house is located on 1.5 acre family compound in the desirable Hither Hills area on Montauk. Enjoy the peace and quiet of Montauk's gorgeous beaches without the noise and hassle of the summer crowds. Walk down the hill to the deeded access only Montauk Beach Property Owner's Association (MBPOA) beaches or drive to the nearest gated lot (key and parking pass provided.) Stroll down to Gurney's Inn for dinner or enjoy their renovated spa!

Light and airy, the care and attention to detail in this home's design is evident in every room. Pyramid ceiling with skylight floods the main room with light during the day, and offers the stars to view at night. Bamboo floors, inlaid doors, solid maple kitchen cabinetry, central air and WiFi access all contribute to its unsurpassed comfort and beauty.

The cottage is located approximately 50 yards from the main house residence, and we are always available on site for any questions, advice or recommendations during your stay - but far enough away for your complete privacy. As the guest house is part of our single family residence, we fully comply with the new Town of East Hampton rental registry law, which do not require resident home owners to secure a registry number if the home is owner occupied during a rental.

The Perfect Getaway!

Tucked away just enough to feel the peaceful serenity of nature and close enough to enjoy the soulful nourishment of the beach. Jennifer, the host, could not have been more welcoming and accommodating! We enjoyed our stay tremendously and hope to return! I highly recommend!!

Perfect place for a weekend getaway!

What a PHENOMENAL weekend we had staying at this perfectly suited cottage in Montauk! My two friends and I fit perfectly in the well-apportioned two bedroom, cozy space. It was sparkling clean with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Clearly attended to by an owner who loves this place and cares that her guests are comfortable and happy. Beautiful grounds, lovely sliding glass doors to let cool cross breezes in and a quick drive/walk to the beach. Close by a wonderful running/walking trail along the beach and to the adorable shops and restaurants in town. We absolutely LOVED it! Jennifer was kind and welcomed us as well as came by to say goodbye. Just a perfect weekend. :)

This house is perfect for a small family!

We had a great time staying at this home and we have been renting houses in Montauk for over 20 years. The cottage is big for a 2 bedroom home and immaculate. The craftsmanship is gorgeous. Perfect location in Hither Hills, with the owners providing passes to private Hither Hills beach, in addition to all other private beaches in town of East Hampton. Owner was extremely responsive, and always available to answer any questions. We will definitely stay here again!
