What makes this Condo unique
Located in one of the world's most beautiful and complete tropical resorts. Staying within its beautiful grounds is like living in an oceanside park.
We had a great time staying at O23, the condo had more than enough room for 2 couples because of the loft upstairs. Kai was helpful with everything, especially the check in. My only complaint is they need to update the vacuum and the broom so we could have cleaned up throughout the week more effectively. Overall a very nice place to stay, the pool and the workout room were a bonus too along with the ocean beach pass!
Relaxing Stay, Excellent Service
This condo is in a lovely golf course setting in one of the best spots on the Big Island where the weather is great year-round. It can easily handle four people and also has a loft with a queen bed. The place was very clean and obviously well-maintained. Service by the management, in particular, Kai, was excellent. He provided easy-to-follow directions in advance, and when we initially could not figure out the A/C, he was prompt with texting help. They also put us in touch with, Mike Nelson, a great island guide who took took us on an exciting and informative crater hike as well as stops at a lovely small coffee and honey farm, and other sites along the way. The property is close to the shops and restaurants of Mauna Lani and the larger complex of Waikoloa is only about a 10-minute drive away. For the addicted, the latter has the only Starbucks (I think) in the northern part of the Island. :) The fascinating petroglyph park is also just a few minutes away next to the Fairmont Hotel. Can't wait to get back!

My family of four and I had a really nice time on the Big Island over New Year's, and we really liked our accommodations at Golf Villa O23 in the Mauna Lani Resort. The condo is laid out well with a nice view of the beautiful golf course. The loft is a great bonus. Also, there was a generous welcome basket upon our arrival. A very nice touch indeed.
Our contact, Kai Ohuchi was very responsive to any questions we may have had. His check-in and check-out directions were uncomplicated and to-the-point.
The resort itself is VERY nice, clean, and quiet with numerous amenities that we took advantage of.
I would give the condo 4.25/5 stars because some of the furniture was just "okay". I was expecting all of it to be more upscale for the price I was paying. Also, it loses some of its sunshine-y-ness as the day goes on.
All in all, quite pleased with our choice and would consider it again.
