The 100 sq.m house has 3 bedrooms and a terrace or the 50sqm with 1 bedroom

Two properties are proposed at this adress.

This city-centre house is over 100 sq.m and located close to the Chaîne Tower in the old port area. It also has a terrace overlooking the port and the sea. The kitchen is very well equipped (4 ovens including steam, induction cook top, ice maker, and wine storage), for you to cook fresh produce from the market.

A 50sqm apartment located in the next building has one bedroom, a bathroom ans a separate toilet. Also a well equiped kitchen (ice maker,...)

Those two properties can be connected if required for large group of friends or family.

If you prefer not to cook, order in a gourmet meal or enjoy one of the many restaurants located nearby. You can enjoy walking the streets with many archways, visit the tower monuments next to the house, or spend time on the beach 5 minutes away. From the port you can take a boat to L´Île de Ré, l'Ile d'Aix, Fort Boyard and even L´Île d´Oléron.

My family has been in Rochelle for a century and I am pleased to return after 20 years in Paris. I am the owner of a boatyard TechniYachtsPinta, close to the old port. As a hobby is to fly. I speak English and am delighted to help you to discover what a jewel La Rochelle is.

This rental is the family home where I grew up but recently left in order to live in a bigger house in La Rochelle. The exceptional character of the location of this property made me want to allow visitors to enjoy this place overlooking the port.

Perfect holiday retreat

Our Party of 5 which included 3 over age of 60 and one 19 yr old found the apartment to be simply perfect.

The location is brilliant with bars, restaurants, shops, boat trips and a beach all within easy walking distance.

The apartment has all the essentials for self catering, is very comfortable, clean and spacious even for a party of 5 with a roof top terrace for sunbathing and wine tasting and the owner is very friendly and accommodating.

We booked for 7 nights but wish we could have extended our stay for another week as there were still lots of things to do and experience that we hadn't managed to fit in.

We would have no hesitation about booking a return visit or recommending to others

P E R F E C T in every way

My family and I stayed in this divine apartment for 16 nights. We moved from Australia and spent the 16 nights in the apartment as we waited for our new 'home', our sailing catamaran, to be finished for us to move on.

I am an interior architect and I was attracted to the apartment from the photos. THe experience of staying in the apartment was better than the photos.

Thierry, the lovely owner, designed this apartment for himself to live in so it goes above an beyond any rental apartments. There are beautiful Miele appliances including ovens, steam oven, plate warmer, induction cooktop and dishwasher. There is a wine fridge aswell as double fridge, a coffee machine and so much preparation and storage space in the kitchen. There is also a Miele washing machine and dryer. A true home away from home.

The apartment is right on a heritage landmark on the ramparts right next to the tower. Although you are next to amazing restaurants, the temptation to use the trolley provided and walk to the fresh produce markets and cook our own meal in the amazing kitchen and sit out on the upper deck was too great! We had cheese and wine on the deck most evenings and watched the sunset and mostly ate in the apartment at night.

The beds are comfortable and living is easy. There is always a sunny side to be at and great views out of all windows including a view out to the ocean and horizon.

La Rochelle is a fantastic town to explore. We are also thankful for Thierry's help with not only navigating the town, where to eat and purchase things but also Thierry was able to help us out with the fitout of our new boat. He speaks really good English compared to my not so good French.

I highly recommend staying here! So much so that my friends came and stayed here for the week following us and loved it too!

Fabulous house, great location

We were three Australian couples travelling in France. This is a fabulous house with excellent fittings and three good bedrooms. The roof-top terrace is a great spot - the best location for drinks in all of La Rochelle. The location is fantastic - shops, restaurants and beach all within walking distance - and easy access to boats to the islands. Thierry was very helpful, provided lots of information and easy to deal with. We would love to come back here..

Perfect place, perfect location

Fantastic stay. The flat was clean, well equipped, quiet and cool. Thierry provided us with all the guidance we needed for our stay. The location was incredible. Turn left and you're at the marina, turn right and 100 yards down the road is a beautiful sandy beach. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxed getaway!

Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location

This is a wonderful apartment in the centre of the town. The apartment is finished to a very high standard and is very comfortable for 2 people. It is very quiet at night and just around the corner from some of the top restaurants and shops.

Thierry was very helpful and speaks great english. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely be staying here on our return.(our favourite restaurant for value and quality was Zebar, just around the corner!)

I would recommend this place to anyone visiting this great city.
