I'm the owner, do not work for an agency and I lived in this apartment until last year. I still live in Venice in another apartment (this one was too big for just me!) and I'm available when needed. I'm Venician and can give suggestions and tips for your holiday.
Why Gabriele chose Venice-Murano-Burano
It's perfect for holiday purpose. Very central, many comforts and quiet (no noise at night).
What makes this Apartment unique
The typical Venician terrace (wooden made at the top of the roof, called 'altana' in venician) for relaxing or getting tanned, in San Marco area full of museums, art, shopping, restaurants but 'protected' as it is located in a quiet alley, very large and furnished with taste, comfortable during the hot summer with air conditioning, close to a supermarket to buy food.
Max guests:8 (sleeps up to 8 adults)
100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date. 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
Great location and comfortable home. Would recommend for a group.
a nice place to stay
We spent several nights here with our 3 children and my inlaws. The home had 2 huge bedrooms for the adults and a smaller upstairs area for my children, both with air conditioning, which was great. The roof-top deck has a nice view of the neighborhood. Its a short walk to restaurants and waterbuses. The home and location are both great, but I should warn the amount of stairs one has to climb to get into the apartment could be very strenuous for the elderly or individuals with bad knees.
Thank you for the review!
However I agree to the fact that 3 flight of stairs (even few steps) are too many for a "elderly with bad knees" but the adjective "strenuous" is inappropriate. If so, just walking across the Rialto bridge would be "tragic".
Hot water & Lighting
Very charming flat. Did have some hot water issues that were addressed. Suggestion for Gabriele. two or three more floor &/or table lamps in the living/dining area would go a long way toward setting a more intimate mood over the harsh overhead lighting.
Great location and very comfortable
We had a family of seven staying at this apartment for ten days. The apartment was in a great central location but tucked just out of the way of the busy tourist areas. It was only steps away from the Academia bridge and just a short walk to St. Mark's Square. The apartment was very comfortable with plenty of bedrooms for us all to spread out. The rooftop deck was perfect in the evenings for a bottle of wine and a nice view. I would definitely stay here again.
Thank you very much!
We all enjoyed our stay especially sitting on the balcony and listening to the sounds of Venice.
Gabrielle and her team made sure we were met at the Vaparetto stop and guided to the apartment. Everything was very clean and tidy and we were given plenty of time to look around the flat and ask questions. There were plenty of instructions and suggestions for where to go to eat, shop, travel etc. The apartment is very centrally located and close to a nice square for restaurants and ice cream. We would go back if we were planning another trip to Venice.
Located in the city centre, but quiet and cosy!
We stayed at Ca' Giustinian appartment for 5 days with two families (four adults and four children, aged 4 – 11 years). The owner and his assistant were extremely kind and very helpful. The appartement is a two minute walk away from San Samuele vaporetto stop and not much farther away from the Accademia bridge. The flat was very tidy and clean and was big enough for all of us. We even had breakfast together on the large table in the living room. The kitchen is well equipped, though we have to admit that we enjoyed the wonderful Italian restaurants every day in the evening. There is ample room for 8 persons and we especially enjoyed the great roof terrace at night. We absolutely recommend this appartment and would love to come back there at any time.
