This cosy villa is set on a flat grassy area completely fenced around offering full privacy
On the ground floor are the living area with the fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a small toilet with shower. On the first floor are two bedrooms with large closets and a shower room. The private pool is the place where everybody will meet for sunbath !!!
A delicious sensation of freedom and calmness is experienced as the extent of the beach reveals itself for the first time, but yet those who need a little 'civilization' will find in Acharavi all the entertainment that offers a resort.
Villa Gialetti is ideal for families with children as it is set on a flat grassy area offering full privacy and security around the private pool. It is also perfect for beach-lovers as Almyros Beach is a long sandy beach with shallow waters at just at a few meters It is the most fantastic sandy beach in the north of Corfu an 8 km huge and unspoilt swathe of beach with gently shelving crystal waters, ideal for children or for persons looking to spend their beach time on a massive untamed area. This wild natural coastline has a Blue Flag status. Along the beach there are some small tavernas and bars. A 7 kilometres coastal path stretches all the way from Roda to Acharavi and on to Almyros, passing a salt lake and nature reserve and ending finally at Aghios Spyridon Beach.
In Almyros itself you can find just six tavernas, all serve good quality food in good prices and one mini-market.
Near Almyros, there are many beautiful and peaceful bays for people who like swimming in small bays. The area is full with many butterflies and wild flowers. Behind the hamlet, there is a small freshwater lake with wildlife and some smaller, even quieter beaches. Acharavi and Kassiopi are both busier villages 10 minutes? drive away, and of course, Corfu town, with its unique architecture and ambience is worth a visit. At the back the lower slopes of the Mount Pantokrator drop gently till the shoreline, while the upper slopes hide some very old and beautiful mountain villages with stone built houses that will surprise you.
