2 bedroomed end of Terrace house with small sea view

The house is tucked away within a small residence to the east of Ste Maxime. It is very quiet with its own parking space for one car outside the property. The house consists of 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed the other with truckle beds ie one single bed with a single bed that pulls out beneath it. These put together make good sleeping arrangements for both children or adults. Both bedrooms have ample cupboard space. There is a recently refurbished bathroom with shower. Downstairs is an open plan kitchen/diner/sitting room. There is also a separate downstairs loo with a washing machine, microwave and fridge freezer. The kitchen has a dishwasher, cooker, small fridge, and oven. It is extremely well equipped with everything you will need to cook. There is a dining table inside to sit 4 very comfortably. There is a flat screen television and DVD player and a CD player. It has a very comfortable L shaped sofa. Outside on the beautiful terrace is a table around a banquette, adequate to sit up to 6 people. The terrace has ample room to put out 3 lounge chairs. There is an outside shower [cold water!] to cool yourselves down! The terrace is gated for good security. The house is close to the communal swimming pool which is beautifully kept. It is a large pool and perfect to do those lengths in the morning! Just outside the gated entrance to Bastide de Guerrevieille is a petanque area where you can have a go or watch others play the quintessential French game!

About Lisa Aitken

This has been a second home to me for the last 10 years. I have spent a great deal of time there. The house means a great deal to me and I have looked after it and treasure it very much. I have to spend more time now in the UK which has meant that I cannot get down to France as much. I run a business with my partner Charles offering yurt stays and teaching woodland craft. We live in Sussex and do get down to the house in the summer with his children who have been coming down since they were babies.

This house has been treasured and cared for since I purchased it in 2001. It is quiet and peaceful and I have done many renovations since owning it. I love my house and I believe that you will too. Everyone that has stayed or visited, adore it. If you are coming as a couple to get away from everything or as a family to enjoy some special days with your children, this is a wonderful place to come.

Very peaceful and very well equipped with all that you will need for a perfect restful holiday.

The house was perfect for 2 people and was extremely well stocked with every utensil we could possibly want! The beds were comfortable and the house was all ready to go on our arrival. Janine and I have both said we would definitely return and I would recommend it to my friends. I loved the shabby chic feel of the place and it was instantly relaxing and perfectly quiet when we spent the day there.

Location très bien située, conforme à l'annonce et aux photos. Piscine réservée aux résidents très proche du logement sans les nuisances. Parking et plage en bas de la colline ainsi que deux restaurants. Grande terrasse fort agréable avec vue très sympa sans vis à vis. Idéal avec des enfants. A recommander.

Ste Maxime is itself a very pretty town, with pretty cobbled streets, lots of shops and restaurants. You will find everything you need in town and are spoiled for choice with the range of food shops and markets. There is an antique market that takes place every Wednesday at the port. Ste Maxime is located close by to St Tropez, a playground for the rich and famous, stepped in history and a wonderful place to visit. A short ferry ride from Ste Maxime to St Tropez is definitely worth it, especially during the season! You can stroll around the pretty cobbled streets, window shop, and watch the world go by from one of the many bars and open restaurants.

East of St Tropez you will find the amazing St Tropez beaches, a long stretch of beach that has various named sections where you will find the well known beach clubs of Club 55 and Nikki Beach. If you are little more adventurous, you can find more secluded beaches but these take a little more planning, a longer walk, but are well worth discovering.

Every Sunday there is a fantastic Antiques market that takes place just outside Grimaud. Well worth a visit! Grimaud itself is charming, a typical old town built on a hill with the 13th century castle.

There are many places to visit in the area. Ste Maxime has all the amenities that you would require. You can take a trip to St Tropez via the ferry from Ste Maxime. Futher afield, you can drive to Cannes or Nice. The valley of Verdun is a good day trip, quite a drive but well worth it. Avignon is about 2 hours away.
