Entering Parkgate there is a feeling of light and quality with a splash of colour. The stylish and spacious flat comprises of welcoming hall, elegant living room, master bedroom with en suite shower room, second double bedroom (twin or king size bed on request), both with built in wardrobes, and a bathroom and breakfasting kitchen. The living room has two comfortable couches, a stereo system and television, and dining area for four persons. The apartment also offers stunning views of Edinburgh's imposing Arthur's Seat

Comfortable, clean, warm apartment with all the facilities we needed for a weekend stay - tho the bathroom could do with a hook on the door and towel rail.
Jayne was there to welcome us and explain parking - great bonus to have secure parking - and heating and security.
Such a convenient location for major tourist attractions and for transport.
The apartment is well located. I found it was both clean and comfortable. Jayne and her husband were fantastic hosts and very helpful. It also has very good services near by. The only negative side is that our parking space did not have a roof, so in the morning our car was dirty as a result of birds and dirt. The public space in the ground floor also had a bad smell because the rubbish bin room is nearby. I don't have any doubts in recommending my friends to stay here.
Stayed for a week in this apartment in July 2016. It's clean, well-equipped and in an excellent location for walking to all the tourist attractions and public transport. Cafes, restaurants and supermarket on the doorstep. Really enjoyed the restaurant Hemma a few metres down the street. Would recommend to friends and family.
The apartment was centrally located and within walking distance of all the major sites. It was about a 15 minute walk from the airport bus stop which was quite convenient. Everything was quite comfortable, bed, pillows, duvet, etc. and plenty of towels. The apartment was one of the most well equipped I have stayed in with plenty of dishes and utensils along with cleaning supplies, even shampoo and soap in the bathrooms.
Jayne was quite friendly and accommodating and showed us everything we needed to know upon arrival. We didn't have any problems with street noise as it's a couple of blocks from the main thoroughfares.
I would highly recommend the apartment to anyone planning a visit to Edinburgh and hope to be back some day!
This was an excellent apartment/flat ideally situated in downtown Edinburgh - nearby to everything, but out of the bustle of High St and the more touristy areas of Edinburgh. Ms. Ciancia was very hospitable, and met us at the flat to show us around, discuss things to do in Edinburgh, and show us how to operate the utilities. She was very understanding and of good humor about the fact that I had the wrong address for the flat, despite having been sent the correct one multiple times, and waited for us to make our way there.
This was a spacious unit, with two full bathrooms, very nice appointments, and plenty of space. All of the appliances worked well -- the kitchen was perfectly suitable for a week's stay, self-catering. It is very close to Holyrood Park / Arthur's Seat, which offers a number of scenic walking/hiking trails of varying difficulty, perfect for a morning walk. There is a Tesco Express (small but broad inventory of grocery items) just downstairs, which is extremely convenient. The building has an elevator/lift.
