24hr doorman and right next to Hotel Reina Isabel the five star hotel. There are tons of options to eat delicious local food and do all type of sports. Lots of paddle surfing, surfing schools, snorkel etc.

We have just come home after a month in Las Palmas. There is so much to see and experience in Las Palmas that one month is too short for that...
Every time we came 'home' to this beautiful, well organized apartment, was a pleasure. Everything you need to feel at home and to make your life comfortable was there; spacious bathroom with lots of shelves and drawers to put your things in, a good bed and a very useful dehumidifier in bedroom, beautiful, comfy sofa with armchairs in living room and all you need in kitchen.
The house is well taken care of, there is even a portier to say hello to you and open helpfully the door for you most times. You don't have to worry about your belongings, you can leave them in the flat.
We enjoyed most of our meals at restaurants and there is plenty of them just behind the corner! Here are a couple of them that we can recommend; La Pizza (Thomas Miller Street), El Cerdo Que Rie (the 'pig restaurant'), El Gallo Feliz (the 'cock restaurant') and Kitchen Lovers on Paseo de las Canteras, de Cuchara opposite of the house, even Reina Isabel's restaurant, but you need to be very hungry to go there and many, many others...
Finally a huge thank you to Begonia who takes such a good care of everything being always ready to help you; the property, helpful advice about Las Palmas, comfort of us customers - even giving recipes to overcome a flu that we both had with us when arriving...

We had a lovely time here, our first in any Canary island. The apartment's position just off the best part of Las Canteras beach in Las Palmas made it a terrific base. As the weather was a bit mixed, we could very easily nip in and out of this comfortable, tastefully furnished apartment. Outside, short-term parking is a problem but bus services are excellent.
Apartment was light, spacious,spotless. Had every amenity you would have in your own home. 1 minute to the beach. Loads buses to enable you to explore further afield. Plenty nice restaurants for 'foodies' Highly recommend this apartment. Thank you.

A quirky, pleasant and well maintained apartment situated in a secure location which is well maintained. Everything you need for a great base. Situated right next to a fantastic beach with supermarkets at your doorstep. We chose Las Palmas as we wished a change from tourist trap resorts. We were not disappointed as the city offers much by way of shopping and places of interest and at local prices. Remember that you will be staying in a city but the noise outside is not excessive. We would recommend this apartment and had a wonderful two weeks holiday.
Enjoyed our stay in Begona's apartment. It's on the doorstep of the lovely promenade and beach. The property was clean and bright and ideal for just the two of us, felt like we were in real Spain rather than a Holiday apartment. The people in the building were friendly especially the doorman. Took Begona's advice about parking the car which only cost us 35 Euros for the week and was ideal. Plenty of restaurants/bars to chose from night or day.
Would definitely stay there again, just one thing we'd like to request next time and that is a couple of pyrex dishes to cook our local fish in.

My wife and I, who are from London, spent three weeks in Begona's apartment in Jan/Feb 2016. Its location was perfect for our requirements, being less than a minute's walk from the splendid Las Canteras promenade and beach, close to shops and restaurants and within ten minutes' walk of Santa Catalina bus station (serving several destinations throughout the island, some with a change at the main San Telmo terminus).
Begona met us on arrival and, when we reported a few minor deficiencies discovered later, was very prompt and efficient in arranging to have these put right.
The flat itself was clean and proved to be a pleasure to stay in. It is a good size, well equipped with kitchen essentials and with many almost new appliances, including a dehumidifier in the bedroom, which proved to be invaluable due to the dampness occasioned by the sub-tropical climate. There was much more storage space than anyone could possibly need, even for a long stay! Feeling more like a home than a holiday rental, the apartment has character, with a mix of traditional and modern furnishings. The presence from time to time of the concierge made us feel safe. We were also helpfully advised by him of an unexpected Las Palmas public holiday of which we were unaware.
We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to have a holiday in Gran Canaria in a vibrant location with many facilities on hand and preferring not to be in the heart of a tourist complex.
