What a great place to stay in Rome!
Fantastic place that pictures do not do justice to! Very spacious with 5m high ceilings. Air conditioning in every room, so you can fine tune to everyone's preferences. Some reviewers mentioned tram noise, but it didn't bother us at all, and we had two kids with us. Catching tram into Center was SOOO easy and quick. There are a number of small restaurants within few steps of the apartment. And if you are going to be cooking, large supermarket is 5 minutes walk away.
Host was very welcoming, prompt to respond, and gave us a bunch of recommendations.
We really enjoyed this location. Roberta was easy to communicate with. Great recommendation on the night tour! Easy to get to great food and all the tourist attractions.
Amazing apartment in fantastic neighborhood that’s minutes from everything!
This was our last leg of a 16 day trip starting in London, then Normandy, Paris, Venice, Cinque Terre, and finally here in Rome.
And this was DEFINITELY our favorite place we stayed In throughout.
The apartment is very nicely appointed and decorated and has everything one could possibly want or need for a comfortable stay or after the end of a looooong day sightseeing and running around Rome.
BOTH bedrooms were larger than anything we stayed in during our trip and extremely comfortable.
Roberta has put a lot of thought into the little things including a well organized book with suggestions on what to do, where to eat, local attractions etc, and probably spent 15-20 minutes just informing us and giving us tips and advice on her favorite things to do ...
The neighborhood had a very “local” feel and literally everyone we met both in our building and in the multitude of quaint bars and restaurants nearby was super friendly (as compared to Paris for example where you pretty much can’t get a smile out of anyone if your not from Paris....jk ..,sort of...)
Roberta could not have been more helpful, polite and responsive. She helped arrange transportation for us when leaving to return to the states.
We could not have been happier with our host or our stay, so if your traveling to Rome and don’t want to worry about your lodging...BOOK this place!
When we return we will definitely do the same.
Thank you Rich for such nice words! I’m looking forward to see you soon back in Rome!
Perfect landing place for three women in Rome
Three of us (cousins) rented this apartment for five nights in May 2019. Having two bedrooms and a loft with a sleeping area gave all of us some privacy. It is in a perfect location, within walking distance of the major sites. The tram adds to the convenience of the location. We enjoyed staying in this neighborhood more than in the areas with only tourists. This was my second stay in this apartment and I hope to come back again.
Great base to explore the delights of Rome!
Apartment as described and pictures reflect reality (not always the case we have found).
Roberta was extremely helpful and prompt with responses and the help in organising transfers to/from airport greatly appreciated.
Charming and spacious apartment
Andrea and Roberta are great hosts. We really enjoyed staying at this wonderul apartment. It is spacious, well stocked, and conveniently located. There's a tram #8 and #3 right in front of the building which allowed us to explore everything in Rome. One thing to note is that its noisy at night due to proximity to tram line, but you get used to it after night or two. Thanks!
The apartment is located on the ground floor of an historical building and faces on to a quiet courtyard. It comprises an open plan kitchen/ dining area, a living room with TV, large bathroom with shower and clotheswasher, two double bedrooms - one with a queen size bed and the other a double bed. The kitchen has a cooktop, oven, microwave oven and dishwasher.
The apartment is located in the Trastevere area, famous for its restaurants, food stores and nightlife. Buses and trams run past the apartment block which in minutes take you to Piazza Argentina and Piazza Venezia. It's a couple of minutes walk to the famous Porta Portese sunday market and is close to the green areas of Villa Sciarra and Villa Doria Panphili. 500 metres away is the Trastevere Train Station which connects direct to Rome's Leonardo da Vinci Airport.
