Great Apartment In Excellent Location

  • 5 of 5

We spent 5 nights here in July and loved the apartment. It was a great location right in Trastevere close to all of the sights and the great restaurants but set back from the street so noise was never an issue. Super clean and well equipped with all of the staples needed to get you started. Large bedrooms with nice linens and comfortable beds. Our teenage daughter and her friend traveled with us and they loved the loft area in the second bedroom. Communicating with Roberta during the booking process and during our arrival was very easy and without issue. A complementary bottle of wine on arrival was a welcome touch. Would definitely recommend this apartment to friends traveling to Rome.

The Place to Stay When in Rome

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I and two friends stayed in Roberta's apartment from 20 Oct to 27 Oct and loved every minute. The apartment was beautifully appointed, roomy and so comfortable, and the location was right across the street from the tram. Roberta was so helpful, giving us tips for restaurants and activities, and scheduled a driver to take us to the airport at the end of our stay. This is the perfect place to stay to escape the crowds after a busy day of sightseeing. We loved the feel of Trastevere and if we return to Rome, we would definitely stay in Roberta's apartment again.

Wonderful Trastevere Apartment.

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I spent 3 terrific days in Rome at the end of September and stayed in Roberta's apartment. This is perhaps the largest apartment we have ever rented in Europe, and we have rented many. Very clean, nicely furnished, comfortable bed, large bathroom and well stocked kitchen. As other reviews have related, Tram Line 8 has stops on the same block which made it very easy to get across the Tiber River into the central area of Rome. The apartment is a good distance from the main street and usually very quiet, unless the Tram is rumbling by. Not that much of a bother but it was noticeable to a light sleeper. Since we arrived very early, Roberta met us and provided guidance on local attractions, stores, etc. This was the first time we have stayed in Trastevere but certainly not the last.

great location and wonderful apartment

  • 5 of 5

We arrived at Roberta's apartment on a Friday afternoon during rush hour. We caught the bus from Rome Termini, and were a bit frazzled. As soon as we stepped into the apartment, the traffic noises faded, and the cool clean rooms made us feel welcomed. Andrea, Roberta's friend, was on hand to make sure we got settled in nicely. We had read that Trastevere is a vibrant neighbourhood full of ristorantes, pizzarias, live music and lots of atmosphere. We confirmed this for ourselves Friday after we got unpacked. We also found all of Rome to be very walkable. After a day or evening of exploring, it always felt good to return to the peaceful calm of Roberta's apartment. Both bedrooms are beautiful, and the kitchen is set up well to cook, if you wish. Grocery stores and small markets are a short walk from the apartment. Roberta's living room is very comfortable and stocked with a good library. All in all a great combination of being within walking distance of the many wonders of Rome, being in an exciting neighbourhood, and being able to retreat to the calm of a well appointed apartment at the end of the day.

Beautiful Cozy Apartment, Convenient Location & Thoughtful Owner

  • 5 of 5

What a fabulous apartment in the unique Trastevere area of Rome. From the booking of this apartment until the very end the owner, Roberta, was extremely organized, helpful and a joy to work with. The apartment itself is nice and crisp in decor and very inviting upon walking in. The kitchen has all the essentials you could possibly need for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bedrooms are huge and equipped with super comfy beds and linens; you will sleep fabulously after a day/ night in Rome. The location is also very convenient with the #8 tram stopping just outside the apartment building which takes less than 10 minutes to arrive in the city center for 1.50 Euro one way. There are a few mini marts right outside the apartment for your basic grocery needs, or if you prefer a restaurant in a pinch check out L'Orange just around the corner as it was delicious. Additionally, a 10 minute walk will take you the the Trastevere center where you will find numerous lively restaurants with outdoor seating and many yummy choices for food.
