Contemporary 3 Bedroom house with views in to the medieval town of Penryn

The house located at Round Ring Gardens also known as Strawberry Fields, is a recently built property set upon the hillside and Nestled on the edge of the historic maritime town of Falmouth in Cornwall. It is a spacious and relaxed family home that will sleep up to 6. There is a garden to the rear that is in the sun from 9am through until 7pm (in the summer). Stunning views extend onto the valley from the front balcony and master bedroom. a short walk from Falmouth’s best beaches – this is a great destination for your next family holiday in Cornwall.

The location is perfect to explore surrounding countryside, local beaches, gardens and other areas of natural beauty that Cornwall has to offer in abundance.

Only 2 miles from Falmouth-

Falmouth is a buzzing town full of creative flair; boasting a wealth of art galleries, shops, bars and restaurants. The town is famed for its maritime industry and its safe sandy beaches; it is a very popular destination for those who are keen to indulge in some sailing, kayaking or those who just fancy a swim in the deep blue. The town has a relaxed feel to it and you can wander through the narrow cobbled street, browsing in the eclectic shops and end up at Gyllyngvase beach. Whilst there why not have a refreshing Cornish cider or a cup of coffee in the beach café situated right on the beach front?

Other places of interest in Falmouth are:

The National Maritime Museum, Pendennis Castle, Falmouth Cinema, Falmouth Aquarium and there are lots of sandy beaches that cover the coastline.

Closer to the property (only half a mile down the road) you can amble into the local medieval town of Penryn. The central clock tower is a prominent feature and can be seen from the front of the property. There are plenty of local bars here for a drink or something to eat. Penryn also benefits from having two fish and chips shops, a Chinese and Indian take away, a delicatessen, bakery and a bank. Just down the hill from the main street you will find the quay and situated right at the waterfront is the eccentric café Muddy Beach. This café also has a license for live music.

Further afield you can venture to the Minack Theatre at Porthcurno, examine the art at the Tate in St Ives, learn to surf at Perranporth, experience the worlds largest rainforest in captivity at The Eden Project or cycle on the Camel Trail. Some of our personal family favorites include: The National Trust’s Kynance cove on the Lizard and Trelissick Gardens.

This home is perfect for families with children of any age or couples who want to experience the delights that this wonderful county has to offer.

Book early to avoid disappointment.

Gemütliches Feriendomizil in Penryn/Cornwall

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5
