Luxury Holiday Villas W/ Private Pools, Bbq, A/c, Set In Exclusive Development
Luxurious detached west-facing villa with its own heated swimming pool, part of the Colina da Atalaia exclusive gated estate just outside the historical city of Lagos. The estate comprises of just 12 independent villas with private gardens and barbecues ans is accessed via remote controlled electric gates.
There is a huge communal pool surrounded by lawned areas and ample private parking including a car port just outside the villa. This villa is air conditioned throughout, has underfloor heating and has been furnished and equipped to the very highest of standards.
The ground floor of the property comprises of a good sized kitchen, fully fitted with granite tops and equipped with Siemens appliances and with a door leading out to the private barbecue area with table and chairs, an open plan living-dining room with dining for 8 and 3 sets of sliding patio doors leading out to the garden and a twin bedroom with ensuite shower-room and a WC/laundry room.
Upstairs there is a double bedroom and twin bedroom both en-suite and with doors out to sunbathing balcony.
All the windows have mosquito screens and electric shutters and there is under-floor heating and air conditioning throughout the villa.
In a quiet neighbourhood 5 minutes drive from the centre of Lagos, shopping is easy with a hypermarket, fish market and fruit and veg markets all within 3km radius. Lagos is undoubtedly the most picturesque town in the Algarve with its stunning beaches, charming old town, huge selection of fabulous restaurants & bars & modern marina.
The nearest beach is Porto do Mos which is a 5 minute drive away. It has three restaurants and km's of golden sand. There are another 20 beaches within 15km. They range from huge expanses such as Meia Praia, to intimate coves like Canavial.
Boavista golf resort & Spa is closeby.
Pool heating can be arranged for €200/week only for the period of May through September.

We look after these properties for the owners who live in the UK. We see them and air them every week so we know that when we have guests stay, they will be in tip top condition. We will be meeting you on arrival at the property and always just a phone call away should you need us.
What makes this Villa unique
We have a lot of repeat guests at Colina - clients know the quality of the properties and the service they will receive from us both from the cleaners and guest services. Although these villas are rented, they were furnished to very high standards. The rooms are spacious and all bedrooms ensuite. The development is walled and gated giving it an extra feeling of security. It is in a really quiet position but within 5mins drive at the beach, marina, town centre or motorway. For more than 1 family holidaying together, we have the advantage of being able to offer 4 villas on the same site (3 with their own private pools and 1 in front of the shared pool).

Großzügig geschnittenes Ferienhaus mit allem was man im Urlaub braucht.
Toller Pool, Ausstattung des Domizils war genau richtig. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage war für Familien mit Kindern genau richtig. Ruhig gelegen aber mit dem Auto waren Strand und Stadt schnell erreicht.

Minutes away is Lagos, the most picturesque town in the Western Algarve with its stunning beaches, charming old town, huge selection of restaurants & bars, lively night-life & pretty marina.
The closest beach is Porto de Mós just a few minutes away long and wide open expanse, surrounded by stunning cliff views and crashing surf to play in. It's a great spot for body surfing or playing with a Frisbee or football. Antonio's restaurant and bar on the beach serves up fresh fish and stunning sunsets.
The many beaches in Lagos are surrounded by a great network of paths that take you along the edges of the spectacular cliffs. Enjoy this unique opportunity to feast your eyes over some of the most dramatic vistas overlooking the Atlantic.
The historic seafaring town of Lagos lies at the heart of the Western Algarve, sheltered by the Ponta da Piedade and guarded by an ancient fort. From here, in the great age of discoveries, Portugal's famous explorers set sail. Although now a lively and bustling town with an award winning marina and many shops, bars and restaurants Lagos retains the gentle atmosphere that is characteristic of Portugal and its people, providing a delightful insight into Portuguese life.
Praia da Luz
A fishing community since the earliest human settlement of this area, Luz has gone on to become a highly popular summer destination. There is a great variety of family friendly restaurants and bars, supermarkets and all the amenities for a complete holiday. The beautiful sandy beach is perfect for sun bathing and water sports, and Luz beach sports the European blue flag indicating clean sand and clean water. To the east of town you find some spectacular cliffs and among them the prominent black rock Rocha Negra. Luz is just 8 minutes west of the historic town of Lagos.
6 km further west of Lagos Burgau has absorbed the advance of tourism yet still retains a strong character which remains relatively un-spoilt due to its location in a small cove bound by steep cliffs. The locals still set out to sea in brightly painted boats in pursuit of squid, lobster and sardines as they did a hundred years ago. Nestled on the edge of a national park, the steep streets lead to a horseshoe shaped bay where there is a beach bar, several cafés, bars and restaurants. Historic Lagos is just 10 minutes away by car.
There are several golf courses in the area including the Championship course Penina, Palmares with its amazing sea views over Meia Praia and the challenging and the picturesque Parque da Floresta all within 15mins drive and there are many more within half an hour. Right on the doorstep of Quinta da Atalaia is Boavista Golf and Leisure Resort with a health & fitness spa, children’s play area, tennis courts, football pitch, state-of-the-art clubhouse, driving range, golf academy, pro-shop, à la carte restaurant, bar and terrace café overlooking the 18th green.
Slide and Splash water park and Zoomarine are about half an hour's drive away and the local Lagos Zoo is great for the little ones. Horse riding, dolphin watching and grotto trips, Jeep safaris and water-based sports can also be arranged.
