Peaceful and Relaxing
Great stay away from the hustle and bustle of a big city and crowds! Loved the environment with the River and farm animals.
Wind River Cabin
My fishing friend and I had a great stay here for two weeks. The cabin was well maintained and the kitchen was well equipped. Dubois is a few minutes away. The owners were close by and answered all questions immediately. They were wonderful hosts and I highly recommend this property!
Great little place by the river
We loved our stay at the cabin by the river. Eleanor and Andy were quick to respond to any questions and even though they were steps away we had complete privacy. Dubois is a really great little town, everyone so friendly. We had pie every day at the Cowboy Cafe (I even tried their Elk Sausage - very good). My only disappointment is that the property is close enough to the road to hear traffic while sitting out on the deck which is why I only gave 4 stars, I so wanted complete quiet near the river. Otherwise, really a sweet little place and worth the drive. Thank you Eleanor and Andy!
I am so sorry that you were here the busiest week of the year. Our 4th of July parade is legendary-featuring the largest privately owned collection of military vehicles in the world. Please consider coming back any other time of the year and you will be unlikely to hear traffic.
We really enjoyed our stay at this rustic cabin full of character with the river, sweet horses and beautiful yard. we had everything we needed and a great location for the price! Close to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Our kids especially enjoyed the friendly horses next to the property and the great Trout fishing at Pete’s Pond nearby. Eleanor and Andy were available for anything we needed.
Relaxing, quiet cabin on Wind River
This cabin was perfect for our small family of four (Mom, Dad, 8YO and 7YO) as a base for our Wyoming adventure. The kids loved the tire swing, the wildlife that wondered by and (of course) the three friendly horses. Mom and Dad liked the quiet, relaxing location and watching the kids have so much fun. Everyone loved the fire pit and making s'mores. Only one hour to the Teton National Park (two for the Yellowstone entrance) made for a nice drive through the mountains to/from the Tetons. Dubois is small enough to be quiet and welcoming but big enough to have options for dining and/or grabbing groceries/supplies. Our hosts went well beyond what we expected to make us feel at home and also gave us several useful tips to make our trip even better. It was a very memorable trip for my family and the kids talk about the cabin area more than the National Parks.
We really enjoyed our stay at your cabin. Everything I can think of was provided. The scenery was
