Stunning, panoramic views of the Med from large private balcony- perfect for enjoying al-fresco dining, sunbathing or just relaxing and taking in the views.

Bright, airy, modern decor throughout. Neatly apportioned with double-bed at one end of main area and a seating area with sofa-bed at the other end. Fitted wardrobes with ample hanging and storage space.

Nice Airport is a 30 minute drive from the apartment. You can either hire a car at the airport or take a direct coach from the airport to Cannes. The coach service runs every 30 minutes and will take you directly to the central bus station in Cannes which is a 5 minute walk to the apartment.

Keys will be available on arrival at the apartment from the resident concierge.

Very efficient underfloor heating system for the winter months. There is a 37' (94cm) flat screen TV with Orange France cable which has 10 channels in English, and a DVD/video player that will also allow CDs to be played. Table and four chairs on the balcony as well as two relaxer-chairs. The apartment has more Positive Reviews than any other Cannes Studio. iPhone/iPod Charger/Dock. Krups Nespresso coffee machine with complimenary coffee pods.

Special view

Recently had 5 days at the apartment, which is exactly as described, and I suspect there's no better view in Cannes. Although a studio, its light and airy with plenty of space for 2 people. Spotlessly clean and in a great location 10-15 mins walk from the station and 2 mins to the beach. Great little boulangerie just down the road too for fresh croissant on the balcony every morning. We watched the sun go down there most evenings too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Getting off the bus and walking about 20 minutes to the apartment was fascinating seeing the market the red carpet of the film festival and the lovely yachts in the harbour, as we walked up the back streets to the apartment things seemed a little gloomy and scruffy, we were getting a bit down hearted but were very tired,, picked up the key from a lovely young lady and into the lift found apartment 23 opened the door to darkness,then opened the electric shutters and WOW the most fantastic view knocks you back,completely takes your breath away,we loved Cannes the apartment is perfect our host has the charm of a French man even though he,s Welsh ...... thank you Chris xxxxx

perfect location, breathtaking seascape view

Perfekte Lage, großer Balkon mit atemberaubendem Meerblick!

Wir haben 2 wunderschöne Wochen in diesem bestens ausgestatteten Appartement verbracht - wie man auf Deutsch sagt: "Gelebt wie Gott in Frankreich." Alles vorhanden, Geschirr, Herd mit Backrohr, Spüler, Waschmaschine, Nespressomaschine, großer Kühlschrank mit Gefrierteil, WLAN; sogar 2 Strandsessel mit Sonnenschirm. Das Meer ist total sauber. Man schwimmt mit den Fischen. Es gibt vom Haus einen Direktzugang zum Strand.

Morgens joggen entlang der Croisette, dann schimmen im azurblauen Mittelmeer, französische Spezialitäten herrlichster Frische und Qualität in der Rue Meynarde und im Marche forville einkaufen, einen Rosewein bei Nicola und das alles am Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer und das Esterel-Gebirge genießen.

Oder ein Abendspaziergang im Le Suquet (Altstadt mit provenzalischem Charme), Rundblick auf Cannes und die Bucht, tolle Atmosphäre mit vielen netten Lokalen. Ein paar Meter vom Appartement gibt es über ein paar Treppen einen direkten Aufgang zum Altstadthügel. Auch der Bahnhof für Ausflüge nach Grasse, Nizza oder Monaco ist in 15 Minuten Fußweg erreichbar.

Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Amazing view from well equipped studio

The studio was exactly as per the description. The view is amazing across the bay and the balcony gets the sun for the majority of the day. Even in late September it was warm enough to sit on as it is sheltered from the breeze. We loved the recliner chairs. If I could have switched off the traffic noise from the road below, it would have been a perfect place to sit. Access to the public beach across the road is an easy 5 min trip from the apartment and the beach chairs were perfect. We made use of the Nespresso machine, wifi and washing machine and everything worked well. The basics left in the cupboards made it very easy to eat in on occasion and were much appreciated. It was immaculately clean and the service from Chris, the owner was prompt and clear. A light, bright and clean apartment.

Simply the Best!!!

I’m nearly loath to add my comments, as I feel I’m shooting myself in the foot for possible future stays. However, I would be doing the owners, Chris and Bridget, an injustice if I didn’t add my very positive review.

This is an excellent studio apartment. The views are absolutely spectacular. Opening the shutters first thing in the morning to see that magnificent view of beach, sea and mountains over the bay of Theoule just makes your heart soar. The terrace is a great size for sunbathing and dining out. On our first morning there, we took in Forville market, literally five minutes’ walk up the back of Le Suquet (via Rue Antoine), to stock up on fresh vegetables, cheese and fresh pastas – with a small Carrefour supermarket close by for other incidentals and the compulsory wine! (There’s also a small shop on Rue Antoine, which is very handy for daily items and bread). If, like this traveller, you normally pack for every eventuality, and risk access luggage charges, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find that there is everything in the apartment you could need –beach towels/mats; beach umbrella; hairdryer, iron etc. If you have a car (highly recommended to enjoy all that the Riviera has to offer), Quai Labeuf parking (minutes away) has competitive car-parking fees if booked for the full period you’re staying – we found too much time was being wasted trying to find street parking.

Cannes is a great base from which to travel to many of the tourist attractions - St. Tropez, Monte Carlo, Gourdon or to St. Paul de Vence, in the mountains. If shopping is your forte, don’t miss the weekly market in Ventimiglia (Fridays) - just over the border into Italy. This is a huge market – though be warned a very early start is advisable to beat the traffic. For those interested in sailing, a fantastic day out is the ‘Folly Fou’ yacht. For around £85 per person, it’s great value for a full day. and sails out into the bay of Cannes, mooring off the Illes de Lerin for lunch (the buffet lunch being the highlight of the trip!). You’ll find the Folly Fou moored on the quai, just along from ‘La Pizza’ restaurant.

A great trip this year, due mainly to a great choice of apartment and many thanks to Chris, who was an absolutely delight to deal with.

Highly recommended! We will definitely return!

Approx 15 metres to sandy beach from building entrance. Excellent local restaurants (beach and street level) within minutes of the apartment.

5-10 minute walk to La Croisette / Palais des Festivales, old harbour, bus station (that has regular half-hourly service to airport), more bars and restaurants and good shopping. Daily markets (fresh produce, antiques, etc) are also within 5-10 mins walk.

We can be seen on Google Street View on Google Maps. Type in 22 Boulevard Jean Hibert, Cannes. Our beach entrance is between Le Madrigal and Le Tartar restaurants. Residence St Remy can be seen above the door.

Other Activities: boat trips, browsing local markets (antiques, fresh produce, etc)
