This charming A/C beach cottage is located very near Platja den Repic, the nice sandy beach in Port de Soller. The walk to the sand is less than 1 minute. The studio has one double bed (cot or small single bed can be provided for a child), nice bathroom with shower and kitchen. There is a balcony with sea views and one terrace with umbrella and sun loungers.
A/C, Free WIFI access and satellite channels.
This was an utterly lovely base. One min from the beach and amazing views over the Puerto Soller bay and sunshine from early morning (early July) on outside spaces - a terrace and a side area with sunbeds and dining area. One big, huge, cool space,.Very relaxing and when our daughter turned up unannounced the lovely owners who live next door, unprompted provided a mattress and bedding for her. The nearest bar is a cafe bar with the freshest hot snacks and and a short walk takes you a bit inland to Campo Sol. Excellent rustic fare - the rabbit with onions on the menu del dia was amazing. 11E for three courses. Beautifully presented. And a ginger cat visitor..... so cute
It was our first time in Mallorca so we didn’t know quite what to expect, from neither the place, island or apartment. It did not take long for us to realize we had hit the jackpot! Port de Soller was the perfect base for us, with the studio nicely situated hillside and still close to the beach, with balcony front and a nice terrace at the back. With every facility I can think of available, including high speed internet, we had such a splended time around the house. We spent many hours at the surrounding beach, and spent the rest of the time riding up and down visiting sites like the botanical garden, Santa Catalina or Biniarax. We did get to use our rental car, and staying in Soller, I would highly recommend having a vehicle available to get around properly, although is not necessary as the tram is near. Bicycles would probably also be a good alternative, although the traffic is quite fast at the mainroads.
As for food, there are many restaurants close by the apartment. A fishmeal at sunset is to recommend, but you may have to order a table. Otherwise we cooked a lot at home. Finally, although we didnt get to see her to many times, Maria the owner was available when needed. We did get to share a glass with her one evening, but would easily shared more. We would love to come back soon!

Very well kept and clean property with everything you require for a relaxing week in the sun. Position was perfect for us, patio and balcony both had excellent views. Will happily return here next year if it is available on the dates we require.
With luggage restrictions on most flights a washing machine would have been good but we managed without, washing things by hand.
Beach, bar and restaurants and small supermarket within 2 minutes, great location.
Sóller's port is the only natural bay on the North-West coast of Mallorca, an exceptional natural enclosure that is well worth a visit. The old fisherman's quarter of Santa Caterina conserves its marine character.
Port Sóller combines fishing with recreation, such as sailing or enjoying the beach. Along the front are many shops and restaurants. The two beaches, Ca’n Repic and Ca’n Generós, the boat trips to Sa Calobra or Cala Tuent, the fresh fish, a stroll up to the lighthouse, the sunset from the maritime museum, the Sóller tram, or simply the marvellous views that make the port an obligatory visit for the tourists; a real luxury within reach for all!
