Ideally located for visiting DIJON (5 minutes from the historical center, 100m from the tram, the starting point of the route of the great wines and vineyards).
Apartment 'La Capitainerie': large T2 of 65m completely renovated, crossing east-west on the 5th floor (elevator), not overlooked.
It consists of:
- A large entrance,
- A fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave ...), large window overlooking the Ouche and the roofs of the old hospital,
- Linen room (washing machine)
- A separate bathroom and toilet,
- A living room (sofa bed) with large bay window overlooking the marina (lake, inland waterways, green spaces)
- A room overlooking nice balcony,
- Large parking in front of the building.
All shops in shopping arcade on the ground floor of the building (bank, bakery, grocery, newsagent, pharmacy, hairdresser laundry ...)
On request, free provision of baby equipment (cot, high chair, etc.).
The flat is very comfortable, light, well-equipped, and well-placed for a short walk into the centre of Dijon. Help before and at our arrival from Arnaud and Véronique, and M. Leclercq who assists, was prompt, efficient and friendly. Altogether an excellent stay - thoroughly recommended!
The apartment is as described, yet seemed quite large. It a normal 1 bedroom apartment, fully furnished and quite well stocked with accessories and good heating system. The balcony faced the park and water across the street. The oven and dish washer were a welcomed inclusion. It is about 15 minute walk to the train station in the centre of town and a block from the tram stop. Buses stop on the street in front. It was a easy walk to the centre of town. Across the street is a canal and small harbour. Close by is a grocery with two ethic grocery corner stores and a couple patisseries.
Arnaud and Véronique were helpful in making our stay in Dijon quite enjoyable. It was close to being at home. Definitely recommended stay.
We loved our stay in this apartment. It is perfect for exploring the city of Dijon and/or the surrounding area. This is a beautiful apartment and is exactly as pictured in the photos. It contains everything you will need to be comfortable. An elevator easily delivers you and your luggage to the apartment. Secure (free) parking in the adjoining lot was included. This is a large and bright apartment (with wooden shades you can lower if you want less light). From the living room and bedroom you have a park and river view, and from the kitchen a view of the river and the rooftops of Dijon's historic center. The neighborhood is very safe. It took us less than 10 minutes on foot to reach the old city. Several small markets are equally close by for any extras you will need (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels) otherwise, all you will need is included (washer, drying rack, hair dryer, towels, bedding, closets, hangers, iron, ironing board, coffee maker, microwave, cookware, utensils, etc.). Our hosts were very pleasant and easy to work with. (We do not speak French, but communication was not a problem.) We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to others when visiting this extremely charming old city.
Location bien située près du canal et très propre. Echange cordial avec le propriétaire à l'écoute et disponible si nécessaire. Balades à pieds le long du canal de Bourgogne ou faire des visites dans le centre ville ou aux alentours est chose facile avec le tram, le bus etc...
Petit bémol : la baignoire à escalader n'est pas adaptée pour des personnes ayant des problèmes lombaires et avec la canicule de cette année, un accès direct à une douche aurait été apprécié

We spent a week in Dijon. There was plenty to do both in the city and in the surrounding area. You won't get bored here. What you do need is a good base, and this apartment is spacious and light, with all the facilities you need. It is also ideally situated for walking to the centre, and for going out on day trips. Just outside there is a park, the canal, and public transport.
