The Garden Cottage nestles in the grounds of an impressive 17th century manor house, once the rectory to the nearby parish church. A wonderful feature of the manor house and the cottage are the magnificently planted gardens of some two acres - complete with arbours, water features and delightful views at every turn. The cottage has been completely renovated and now provides elegant yet comfortable accommodation for four. The cottage is reached via a long, wooded private drive which leads to the parking area for the cottage. Half a dozen steps give access to the sunny patio area which has garden furniture and a barbecue. The accommodation is arranged all on one level (with one or two internal steps) and comprises an open plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room. This is an attractive space with a modern kitchen fitted with high quality appliances, a dining area for four and comfortable seating to the lounge area. Freeview TV with built in DVD is installed and there is a CD/Radio. The main bedroom is a most elegant room in the French Style with a feature double bed with matching furniture and lovely fabrics. The en-suite bathroom is most striking having dark tiling as a background to the sparkling white of the bath and wash basin etc. At the far end of the cottage is the other double bedroom which is also furnished with a period feel and has carefully toning fabrics throughout. The shower room attached to this has a large walk in power shower, basin & w.c. The lovely setting of this property and the surrounding gardens will be much appreciated by those seeking a peaceful and beautiful location within a couple of miles of the bustling harbour and town of Looe and with local facilities - shops, pub/restaurant which is walk-able in about 15 minutes or 2 minutes by car.
There is a pond in the garden which is accessible so guests must ensure children are not left unaccompanied.
Stunning cottage set in beautiful gardens.
