Wonderfull, slightly wornout, house in fantastic setting
We stayed four friends for 4 nights in the very charming, yet slightly wornout, house. Its huge and caters easily 6 adults, with 3 bedrooms and 2 toillets and showers. The kitchen is very nice with lovely kitchenware. BUT dont use the boiler as it makes the electricity fall out. The garden looks like the picture as does the view. Communication was fine and we got nice and charming help from a neighbour the stayed the other part of the house. During spring (mid april with 15-18 degrees celsius in midday) the house feels cold. There are plenty of electrical heaters to warm up a bit.... Would definetely go back
We just spent a week in this house with our two boys(12 and 9). The house is big enough for a bigger family(two big bedrooms and a smaller one with two twin beds perfect for children; big living room and family dining; the kitchen is equipped with what seems like new oven and dish washer). It has the charm of an old house but well stocked with necessities and very clean. The backyard is what we spent most time at. It has an amazing view and after a day exploring the areas, it is the great place to relax. Our boys played soccer there while we barbequed. There are multiple hiking trails nearby. A very exclusive rock beach within 45 minutes of hiking or 10-minute driving. Port de Soller is very close by and we had fun spending time on the sandy beach there and visiting the local supermercardos. Owner was quick in responding to questions. Booking was easy and getting in the house was smooth. Will definitely come back!
Great home base to explore the tramuntanas
Had a great stay at Cas Sord, traditional home in a great location with stunning views. Check-in and out was a breeze, easy access to some of the more charming towns in Mallorca. Large, spacious house and yard, on the gr221 hiking path. Fully recommended for an authentic experience.
Spacious villa, good location, great alternative to Deia, pictures don't do the place justice
My girlfriend and I spent five days in this lovely villa, waking up to birdsong. It has a large private backyard that we made great use of to enjoy some Sangria while watching the sunset over the Mediterranean. It is semi-detached but you wouldn't notice. When we arrived we were treated to a large basket of fresh picked oranges and lemons grown in the area. I don't think I have ever tasted such a delicious orange in my life. The inside is quite large and has everything you need. The bedrooms were quite large, with multiple bathrooms, big living room and dining room and a kitchen large enough to cook up quite a storm. There is also a charcoal BBQ in the backyard, which we made great use of for grilling some Sea Bass and prawns. It was almost too big for just two people and would be perfect for a groups, couples or families...or even hosting a party in backyard! The only down side is it is right next to the main road between Soller and Deia so there was regular traffic during the day which can be a bit noisy with the tour buses. This being said, in the evenings when we returned from exploring the area and making some dinner, the traffic was minimal.
Just 30-40 minutes drive from Palma, the property is ideally situated outside of Soller and Deia is a short drive up the road. Soller is a gorgeous town and it is worth exploring it and the surrounding area, there you have access to all your needs for groceries and great local seafood. Some of the best restaurants in Mallorca are in the area. From here it was totally feasible to explore the coast of Mallorca, both North-East up to Alcudia and South-West past Banyalbulfur on day trips. It is a great alternative to Deia in terms of location as properties there can be more expensive with low availability during the summer. We had a car but it is also completely fine to rent a scooter in Palma and make your way here (assuming you don't have too much baggage, if that is the case you can leave it in temporary storage in Palma). We did rent a scooter for one day and it was amazing driving along the coast to Deia and to the beach for a day.
Marilena was kind, professional and timely. She was very nice to deal with and responded quickly to any questions we had. Arranging our stay with her was a dream. Christian, who lives next door, was extremely helpful and was there if we ever had any questions or problems. Great fellow and wonderful sense of humor.
All in all a wonderful place to stay and highly recommend.
Located between Deya and Soller, in a privileged location with fantastic sea and mountain views. A 10 minute drive there is a small rocky cove for swimming in crystal clear water. All around there are several hiking trails, you can walk to Sóller, Port de Sóller and Deya.
