2 Bedroom apartment, Sleeps 5, 200m from beach & town

This beautiful holiday apartment is located 200 metres from the beach and just a few minutes walk from the best restaurant and shopping streets in Juan Les Pins. Having been completely renovated in 2013, it features a fully equipped modern kitchen in addition to all new furnishings , wifi, and a flat-screen TV and DVD player with an enormous video library. Located on the top floor of a quaint 3-storey 1930's building, (no elevator, so please bear in mind if you have a problem with stairs! ) the apartment's high ceilings and southern exposure provide for a bright and airy feeling throughout the unit. The apartment's design includes an open-concept floor plan with a 5-person dining area which is adjacent to a comfortable and spacious lounge. The kitchen is outfitted with everything you will need during your stay including a dishwasher , washing machine/tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, oven, hob, kettle, toaster , blender, toasted sandwich maker, and all the required crockery. There are 2 bedrooms facing south; a double bed with TV in one room and a single bunk over full bed in the other. We have recently installed air conditioning, and there are ceiling fans in every room.

There is a lovely shady children's playground within a beautiful public garden just 100m away and the supermarkets are equidistant at about 200m. Just minutes from the apartment, and right beside the public beaches is an endless array of restaurants where you can dine on the delicious French cuisine while simultaneously massaging your feet in the soft and beautiful sand or stroll through the nightly artisanal markets. Hiring a car is not a necessity during your stay as the bus stop is 100 metres away while the train station is less than a 5 minute walk. Either of these options will take you practically anywhere you may want to go.

Why Jane chose Cannes - Grasse - Antibes

We purchased this property in 2012, and have since had lots of fun (and hard work!) renovating it, transitioning it into a modern home, but maintaining touches of the original 1930' We have made it into a home that we would love to stay in, without the clutter of everyday life! We fell in love with the high ceilings, the french windows and the lovely little building it is in. When we found out the name of the building (Happy Days) we knew it was just perfect for us. Our neighbours in the building are all so friendly, what a bonus! And of course the location, a perfect summer holiday spot!

It is close to everything, including the beach: ideally located!

This was my 4th trip with AirBnB and Jane's apartment had been without a doubt the top one so far. Jane, her daughter with a friend greeted as at the place, which was only 2 minutes from our bus stop (arriving directly from Nice airport). Bonus: it is only a short walk from the train station too. You can actually see it from the bedroom window. Jane kindly accommodated our earlier arrival by letting us come over straight from the airport.



The place looked just like in the photos. Bright, functional, well designed and clean. The apartment was equipped with all modern kitchen utensils including several coffee makers and steamer as well as iron + board, hair dryer and small AC unit which we used for an extra cool off during one hot day. The kitchen cupboard contained teas, coffee, variety of seasonings and olive oil among other useful things. The internet speed was excellent. Entertainment system – although we did not use, just curiously checked – would provide wide range of long time entertainment for those who prefer to stay at home. With cable TV, hard drive full of films and stereo including 3.5 mm audio AUX (it means you can play sour from your own phone, tablet or laptop) there's enough varied entertainment for those who want to spend time indoors.



Half way through our stay Jane kindly checked on us via messenger to see if we were ok or needed anything.



The building is situated on a side street immediately parallel to the sea promenade. It's not very busy.



Nearby supermarket, bakery, veg stand, chemist and numerous cafes – all within a less than 2 minute walk down the street – provided for all our everyday needs.



And of course the the beach... A four minute walk away. Both public and private beaches are available. The town centre is only 10 minutes away.



Overall, Jane put a lot of hard work and true passion to make this apartment so outstanding. Jane perfectly understands high standards of hospitality.

Fabulous

Stayed here for two weeks! Is in a great location, close to the beach, train station and the centre of Juan les Pins. Also with a supermarket just around the corner and was given a safe place to store my bicycle. The apartment was clean and very spacious and very well furnished with everything we needed. Great place, would stay again and would defiantly recommend !!

Perfect vacation rental!

Super nice, clean and modern apartment, perfect for your family vacation!close to great little French bakeries and cafés, supermarkets and dining. Short walk from the beach. We spend a great week here and loved every minute of it. The apartment is modern and has everything you need, including fast internet;) the owner is friendly and very helpful as well.

Juan les Pins is a bustling beach-side village/town nestled on the Cap d'Antibes peninsula in between Nice and Cannes in the heart of the French Riviera. Its central location is perfect for exploring the many attractions this spectacular region has to offer, from magnificent Monaco to the jet-setting St Tropez. The region's year round mild climate mean that days can be spent on the beach even at Christmas but just a hour and a half away several ski resorts are to be found. There is no need for a car in Juan Les Pins as there are fantastic train and bus services running the length of the Côte d'Azur. The fabulous streets of Cannes just a 7 minute train trip away. The trip to Montecarlo and then on to Ventamiglia (Italy) by train is particularly scenic as the train hugs the coast winding its way through Antibes, Biot, Nice, Villefranche, Beaulieu Sur Mer, and Eze. Absolutely stunning! . 'Juan Les Pins' boasts a vibrant nightlife making it a perfect destination for party go-ers. Famed for its July Jazz festival and its summer full of music with fireworks displays, there are many other festivals throughout the year, including but not limited to, the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix. Just minutes from the apartment, and right beside the public beaches is an endless array of restaurants where you can dine on the delicious French cuisine while simultaneously massaging your feet in the soft and beautiful sand. An artisanal markets stretches across the Juan Les Pins boardwalk on a nightly basis throughout the summer months. This area, however, with its beautiful sandy beaches, parks and amusement attractions also offers an enormous amount of fun for the vacationing family. Marineland and Aquasplash are just a 5 minute train ride away, along with mini-golf, and a little farm with lots of animals, a great air-conditioned Playmobil room and rides. Across the street from these attractions is Antibes Land, where you will fun heaps of rides and roller coasters for your kids’ endless enjoyment. Other attractions oriented to the little ones include Fun City, Boomiland, Parc Phoenix, or even just rollerblading or bike-riding along the gorgeous coastal boardwalks. Fun for the entire family can be had by heading to the nearby horse races in Cagnes-sur-Mer where you can find free rides and snacks for the children whilst you test your luck on the horses! In summary, this is truly the perfect vacation destination that appeals to all types.
