Gorgeous One Bedroom Garden Flat With Fabulous Views And Close To All Amenities

This lovely flat has a king sized bed in the cosy bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room for extra guests. The bathroom has a large shower, toilet and basin plus a washing machine. The well stocked kitchen has views over the Moors as you wash up or you can use the dishwasher. There is a gas hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge freezer. The living room has a comfy sofa, armchairs and Freeview TV, DVD and CD player. There is free WiFi. The conservatory has a dining table and chairs for four, plus a comfy arm chair. Outside there is a deck, patio and small lawn area to sit and watch the sunset and view.

Great location. Fantastic view. The flat had everything we needed

Very sweet little flat. We were very comfortable and loved watching the sunset and sunrise over Glastonbury. The town and the tor were so close that we didn't need to drive. The owners were lovely and we will certainly book again when we next plan a visit to the area.

ideal location

This apartment is the ideal location to visit the breathtaking Tor and Chalice Wells Gardens. We loved not having to drive for a couple of days and being able to explore by foot.

The apartment was very clean and easy to find with beautiful views from the garden.

Spectacular Scenery

The view are definitely to die for! One our first night, the sunset was breathtaking! We never got up early enough to see the sunrise, though! Blame it on the super comfortable and luxurious beds!!! Bathroom was very large. Loved the shower mechanism. Easy access to the washer. Refrigerator was large, microwave and oven were provided as well. Very clean place. Loved the garden! My daughter loved the flowers! It's a haven for nature lovers.

Vanessa was very friendly and helpful.

Plenty of free parking. Would require a lot of steep steps up and down the property (loved the exercise!). Loved walking and shopping along the High Rd. Visited the Abbey and had a wonderful time there. Saw some buses going to the Tor and Chalice Well.

Would recommend to friends and relatives. Definitely would be back here. Thank you, Vanessa!

About Vanessa Bicknell

We moved to Glastonbury in 2001 after selling our bookshop in Hampshire and bought the Flying Dragon Bed and Breakfast. In 2010 we converted the downstairs into a beautiful garden flat and renamed it the Flying Dragon's Nest and moved up into the bed and breakfast house ourselves.

Why Vanessa Bicknell chose Glastonbury

We had been coming to Glastonbury for years as a place for rest and retreat, plus we love the Chalice Well Garden and climbing the Tor. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and we often walk in the Mendips and out on the Levels looking at the incredible bird wildlife.

What makes this apartment unique

We bought this particular house because of its fantastic views and its great potential to use as a rental property, As we face west we can often have incredible sunsets and light into the house. It is a very peaceful place to live, yet near everything that Glastonbury has to offer.

We are located in the pilgrimage site of Glastonbury famous for its ancient Abbey ruins, Chalice Well Gardens, The Tor, Wearyall Hill and the Rural Life Museum. Clarks Village the factory outlet shopping centre is located in Street two miles from Glastonbury. From our property you can see the Levels famous for millions of starlings during the winter months. Also the Mendips are a fifteen minute drive away for walking, hiking, potholing. Beautiful Exmoor is also a half hour drive from us as are the beaches of Weston Super Mare, Watchet and within an hour Chesil Beach.
