Clean, fresh and nice villa for big families or friend groups.
Great, modern and comfortable beds in every bedroom, except the one with two single beds. These two beds could have been more comfortable and was making some noise from the wood.
Lots of space inside. Good equipped kitchen, but was missing some smaller stuff that was promised in the description, like salt&peppar. It was also missing waste bags in the kitchen when the first one was full after one day. Small details, except that, everything was really good. The pool was nice and clean, but had small painting glitches on the bottom. No extra heating in pool water, it was about 22-23 degrees celsius in the water.
Nice and clean bathrooms.
About 500m to nearest supermarket. 7-9 euro for a taxi ride to Fig Tree Bay center.
We paid extra to rent a high chair and baby cot for the smallest child. The cost was 70€ for a week, maybe a bit high priced in our opinion. But good equipment.
We were 11 people, 7 adults and 4 kids. Everyone was really happy with the villa and can certainly recommend to others!
We were 3 families with 6 kids and a baby, that looked for a nice place to spend the summer vacation. The communication with, Spyros the owner was perfect and it really help the decesiom with choosing this vila. The location is the best, as for the facilities in the area, as well as the view that make you smile and relax from the moment you open your eyes.
We had a lot of fun and will be back in the future.
Also the management company is always there when you need them the most.
The family had a great time here, enjoying the pool on a daily basis. Set back from the main road there is no noise apart from the odd cricket. We had a couple of cars during our stay and was just 5 mins drive to all the local beaches. We would look at saying here again !! Excellent communication from the owner. Made to feel very welcome
I can't recommend this villa enough, we stayed in August last year (apologies for the late review Spyros) along with 9 friends for a wedding at the Grecian Park (5 min walk), many of our friends stayed at the Grecian Park but loved out villa so much they spent most of their holiday with us. The villa is so beautiful, clean and is equipped with everything you will need and more, each room is spacious and most have private bathrooms and balcony's. Location was a short drive from the beautiful beach and local nightlife - Ayia Napa is around a 10 -15 min drive. (rental car recommended) Although the villa is on a main road, it is very private, with a very long driveway and private gates - you don't hear any noise, you feel like you are in your own little world, which is perfect for a summer holiday. We will be back :)
Me and 9 friends stayed in this Villa, we are all between 21-28. The villa is perfect! its very spacious modern and clean. It has stunning views and situated on a hill. The villa is a short walk from Konnos Bay which is stunning. The villa is based between protaras and Ayia Napa. It is a short drive/taxi to Protaras or about a 30 minute walk. - Would highly recommend!
As a large group of adults and children travelling to Cyprus for a friend’s wedding at a nearby hotel, I decided it was only fair to let everyone have their own say on our stay here…
The Aegean Villa became a home away from home for us very quickly.
It was the perfect size for us - even with the beds filled to capacity we had plenty of space to relax and have fun.
We used the kitchen a lot, which was large and well planned/stocked enough to make cooking and eating together easy.
The good family-sized swimming pool was terrific and most importantly clean. More than that, it was essential to cool down! There was plenty of outside furniture for us all to sit together and enjoy the brilliant view all at once (although a couple of the sun loungers might need updating).
The villa also has plenty of parking, and it’s in a good spot for beaches and local amenities.
Any minor issues we had on arrival (the set-up of the beds had been a little confused at first) were rectified quickly and Spyros emailed us directly to let us know he was available if there was anything that the agents couldn’t help with. This was typical of his excellent communication in the run up to the trip and even on our return – we had no problems whatsoever with the return of the deposit.
It really was a lovely holiday home for us. Everything was clean and comfortable and we had a super wikid awesome time!
One of the most beautiful areas of Cyprus, Protaras has been awarded as the 3rd best European Beach Resort for 2011.
Family-friendly and tranquil, Protaras is situated along the sandy coastline of Cyprus's Fig Tree Bay. The glorious beaches are the main attraction, but Protaras has a smaller and more intimate feel than nearby Ayia Napa.
Holidays in Protaras attract couples and families looking to enjoy the fabulous beaches of eastern Cyprus while remaining apart from the younger louder atmosphere at Ayia Napa, 9 miles to the south. Holidays in Protaras have proved consistently popular especially with families looking for classic Cyprus beach holidays with plenty of facilities and entertainment and some of the best sandy beaches and intimate coves in Cyprus.
Protaras features several excellent beaches with safe gently shelving fine white sand and calm clear water ideal for families with small children. The main Protaras beaches are:
• Louma Beach (it has been awarded with a blue flag)
• Pernera Beach (it has been awarded with a blue flag)
• Potami Beach (it has been awarded with a blue flag)
• Vrysis Beach (3 sections have been awarded with a blue flag)
• Fig tree bay (it has been awarded with a blue flag)
• Loumbardi Beach (it has been awarded with a blue flag)
• Konnos Beach (it has been awarded with a blue flag)
For a quieter Protaras beach try the small coves on the rugged coastline to the north, or explore the isolated small coves on the un-spoilt coastline towards the headland at Cape Greko. Both areas offer good snorkeling and diving.
Protaras provides visitors with an exceptional range of water sports, including paragliding, windsurfing, diving, snorkeling, jet-skis and waterskiing. Children on holiday in Protaras will enjoy the local water park and the much larger Water World at Ayia Napa. Within Protaras itself, you can find Mini Golf courses, Tennis courts (within the Hotels but open to the public too), Water Aquariums and a Sea Museum. Should one wish to escape Protaras other forms of leisure such as Day Trip boats, Day Trip Safaris are available. Further interests are also available like Horse Ridding for example or even fishing.
- Family beach resort with plenty of entertainment. There is an ample choice of restaurants and taverns, and plenty of shops, with a more genuinely Cypriot selection at nearby Paralimni. Although Protaras holidays are more family orientated than Ayia Napa they are certainly not lacking in lively nightlife. with no shortage of bars, pubs, discos and clubs. You'll have your pick of Cypriot specialties at one of the many open-air taverns or seafood restaurants in town.
For the young we have Ayia Napa, one of the most popular tourist spots in Cyprus. Ayia Napa is famous for its sandy beaches with turquoise clear waters and golden sands. All have a golden flag. In recent years, apart from being a family holiday destination, it has become a 'party capital' similar to Ibiza, Rimini and Mykonos. Ayia Napa though has now become one of Europe's most popular clubbing and holiday destinations, with thousands of clubbers coming from all over the world and for the last 2 years also hosting a Worlds Top 100 Club as voted by the clubbers themselves. Trance and House stand as the main styles with RnB, Hip-hop, Funk and Electro along with some great music from other European cities in themed clubs.
There are plenty of clubs catering for all genres and ages and these also vary from your 70’s 80’s party discos as well as an open air Reggae club.
Taxis are everywhere you go, in both Protaras and Ayia Napa and easily connecting the two. Just off the squares, on the main road, outside the clubs, day and night.
