Typical country house with a private pool for 4 people with wifi included. The villa is located on the road from the town of Alcudia at 4km, and Pollensa 6 km, the access is via a private way that ends in the same villa. It enjoys very quiet and beautiful views to the field of almond and fig trees, and in the distance the mountains of the Sierra de Tramuntana.

It is a typical old farmhouse, but adapted to all the current needs.

The house has 2 floors, and in front of the house, a beautiful porche with a vine, as is typical in these houses, that gives a pleasant shade on hot summer days. The entrance to the house leads directly to the hall which in turn is the living room of the house; equipped with sofa, armchairs, satellite TV and DVD. Adjacent to the dining room is the kitchen, equipped with table and chairs for 4 people and induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge, freezer as well as the tools necessary to cook at home. The kitchen leads to another space, office where is the washing machine and a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. This stay leads to the outside where there is a covered porch.

From the entrance is a staircase that leads to the upper floor, to the left is a bedroom furnished with 2 single beds 0.90 cm wide, and to the right, the master bedroom equipped with a king size bed. Adjacent a bathroom with bath, wc, bidet and washbasin. The bedroom opens onto a balcony. All the bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning cold and/or heat, and also we have available, cot, highchair for children, plus pool towels for all the guests.

The house is on one side of the property and the front is equipped with a large terrace, partly covered by a pergola and then a covered porch furnished with chairs and table to enjoy meals al fresco.

There is a second porch with patio furniture to relax overlooking the pool. This is a little uneven ground so that access to it and the solarium with sunbeds is through some steps that border it.

To complete the outdoor facilities, a barbecue and a large lawn surrounding the pool and terrace with trees and native plants.

We offer you the following touristic services, by request:

- Own catering services, whether they only include breakfast, half board or full board. We offer the option of providing either in the villa, or in the restaurant .

- Laundry and dry cleaning services, including washing and ironing of garments, bedding, personal garments of the guest, etc.

- Periodical cleaning of the house. This service is provided on alternate days, unless its provision is required on a daily basis.

- Rental services for cars, motorcycles, scooters, quads, bicycles, etc.

- Guide services, which include excursions, guided activities, provision of information on points of interest, assistance to tourists, accompaniment in lunches and dinners ...

- Advice about places of interest, whether cultural, landscape, beaches, as well as local products and crafts, etc.

- Medical, hospital and security services 24 hours a day, with personalized assistance and support to the relevant institutions or organizations.

- Intermediation services.

- Other services are available such as: the custodian of luggage of the client, the management of reservations, daily press delivery service, among others.

Peaceful retreat

Just what we were looking for...some peace and quiet! Outdoors was really lovely, garden, pool and view of the mountains. Oh and the sheep in the field in front! Indoors was simple, comfortable and we had all that we needed. We would definitely return.

Beautiful typical Mallorcan residence in a peaceful area surrounded by outstanding views.

Our family of 4 loved Casa Martin, we enjoyed the seclusion of the countryside villa but yet it was easy to reach both Alcudia & Puerto Pollensa within 10 mins by car. It is to be noted that it is not detached but backs onto another residence so you can hear the neighbours but was not a problem for us.

The interior is typical Mallorcan - it was simple & clean. We had a problem with the drains but Juan & Maria were straight round & sorted it. We recommend that both bathrooms are constantly used so that water traps do not evaporate ensuring it smells ok throughout your stay! Our daughters aged 13 & 9 loved the villa & it's fantastic pool. The garden is surrounded by open countryside & the sheep added to the personality of the property & kept us all entertained. My husband is not one for sunbathing so the shaded seated area was fantastic for chilling out and reading. The sun terrace at the side of the pool was great & had sun all day long. Beach towels are provided which is great if travelling like we did with minimum baggage allowance. There is also a washing machine but did not use it as didnt wear that many clothes - we lived in our bikinis & shorts! Make sure you take mosquito repellent - I forgot & regretted it when we got badly bitten on the first night! The beds & pillows are really comfy & air conditioning in both bedrooms means a good night sleep can be had! Overall we had a fantastic stay & would definitely return. Thanks Juan & Maria!

Beautiful villa in peaceful surroundings

Had a brilliant holiday we didn't want to come home! Beautiful clean homely villa set in peaceful area but not far from shops. We stayed for one week with our two children a four year old and a one year old!! And they loved every second! Nice grass area for the kids to play on and plenty of shade areas to sit and get out of the sun, the pool was a much needed relief from the heat and the kids loved swimming it in all day. The local beaches were paradise with white sand and clear water.

We are defo going to have holiday blues and will be returning to Casa Martin as soon as we can :-)

Tranquility

Are you looking for that haven of peace, that place where you can relax and unwind? Then look no further. Casa Juana is the place for you. Set in an area of scattered villas it has views of the distant hills. The covered terrace faces west where you can sit of an evening to watch the sun set. All our meals were taken on the covered terrace. The property and facilities are exactly as described, everywhere neat and tidy.

Although the casa is set in a rural location the town of Pollensa is a mere 6km away, with its quaint narrow streets and a large choice of restaurants should you wish to dine out.

The Sunday market in Pollensa should not be missed but park on the edge of town and walk in.

The old walled town of Alcudia 15km away is well worth a visit and the general area is just waiting to be explored.

A car is absolutely vital but you won't want to go too far as the casa will draw you back so that you can enjoy the total peacefulness of the location.

This was our first visit to Majorca and we will certainly be back especially to Casa Juana.

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Tolles Haus das für unsere Ansprüche super war. Inneneinrichtung einfach, aber zweckmäßig. Die Badezimmer könnten mal renoviert werden. Durch die Klimananlage, die wir Abends immer angestellt haben konnten wir trotz Wärme gut schlafen. Insgesamt haben wir uns außer zum Schlafen, aber die ganze Zeit draußen aufgehalten. Die Kinder haben sich die ganze Zeit am Pool beschäftigt, der allerdings an der flachsten Stelle 1,10m tief ist (mal ab von der Treppe). Die Terassen sehr schön schattig, der Pool ordentlich Sonne

Bis auf das direkte Nachbarhaus (war nicht vermietet) keine Nachbarn, oder Straße, sehr ruhig. Der Kühlschrank war bei Ankunft schon mit dem nötigsten bestückt und die Vermieter haben uns das Haus, da der Flug erst abends ging und die Nachmieter nicht direkt angereißt sind, noch bis 16:00 nutzen lassen

Kleine ländliche Finka in absolut ruhiger Lage

Das Haus ist in ländlichem Stiel, schlicht und ursprünglich. Mit super Dachterrasse. Wenn es schlecht Wetter ist könnte es mit 4 Personen etwas eng werden. Es gibt aber im Außenbereich eine tolle überdachte Longe in der man sich gut bei jedem Wetter aufhalten kann.

Der Außenbereich ist super. Das Haus liegt abseits der Straße und in absoluter Ruhe, die nur hin und wieder durch das blöken der Schafe durchbrochen wird. Der Pool mit der Sonnenterrasse ist wunderschön! Die rieseigen Palmen am Pool machen das Urlaubsfeeling perfekt.

Wir waren rund um zufrieden. Die Vermieter waren super nett und waren immer erreichbar. Die Anreise morgens verlief problemlos und sehr unkompliziert. Wir werden die kleine Finka in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten.

Biking, hiking and bird watching takes over the normal summer tourism in the coldest months. Then the cyclists take the opportunity to train with professionals who use this region in the north of the island as a training camp to prepare for the Tour de France.

March and April see the island used as a starting point for migratory birds stop and attracts many birdwatchers who come to see a number of unusual species including black vulture are breeding in the Valley within walking distance Ternelles from the city. It is also near the nature reserve of Albufereta, which is home to many species of birds.

There are also plenty of excursions to the coastal areas and in the mountains to walk. Along with the celebrations and festivals throughout the year the city can really offer something for the entire year. There are many water sports available on the nearby beaches of Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia.

Costa Beach:

The beautiful beaches of Cala Sant Vicence and the sandy beaches of Puerto Pollensa are within 10 km away. Also nearby it is a little further north is one of the most picturesque beaches of the Mediterranean, the beach of Formentor (once used in the Bounty ads). This can be reached by ferry from Puerto Pollensa or road within 15 minutes, making a spectacular tour with breath taking views on the way through the wind roads.

Travel:

Pollensa is a 45-minute drive from Palma Airport. Alcudia Bay is about 10 minutes by car. Sa Pobla, which is about 15 minutes by car, train access to the centre of Palma, where a train can take you to more Soller on the famous line from narrow gauge railway. The cave of Campanet are a "must see" and are about 15 minutes from home by car.

Puerto Pollensa and Cala San Vicente are 10 km. Alcudia and Puerto de Alcudia are at 5 and 6 km.

There is a taxi stand near the main square and a local bus service throughout the year

Pollensa is famous for its Sunday market where you can buy almost anything from fresh local produce memories.

The most northern foothills of the Sierra de Tramuntana are the backdrop of the Mallorcan town of Pollença. The town has a medieval old town which is just a few kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea. This city, in the shadow of the mountains of Puig de Pollença and Calvari, has managed to preserve intact its personality, despite being only a short distance from the bustle of the beach. Pollensa has been a preferred destination of painters and artists since the beginning of this century destination. Here, the cultural and artistic life never stops. The main square with its cafes and chic restaurants is the hub of the towns unique charm. There are a lot of art galleries and museums. For most of the year you can enjoy a variety of musical events and fiestas among which the most famous are those that take place in the cloister of Santo Domingo. The town is open all year round with walkers, cyclists and bird watchers taking over from the summer tourists in the cooler months.
