This property is known to us, and you hopefully if you come to stay here, as Star of the Sea. We have 5 apartment in this glorious building called Granville Marina and this apartment is located on the ground floor to the left hand side of the building as you look at it. Apartment 1.
It is arranged over one floor and upon entering you find yourself in the apartment's hallway. Turn right and you enter the living space which is open plan and accommodates the kitchen and dining space also. There is a TV with all Freeview channels provided through a satellite dish as well as a fully functioning aerial system as back up.
Turn left upon entering the hallway and you'll first pass the standard double bedroom, then the master double with ensuite is located to the rear of the apartment. At the end of the hallway is the family bathroom with bath and shower. The property is spacious, light, comes with lots of storage and is secure. We have a full fire alarm system and CCTV building-wide.
You are moments away from the beach in the well-apppointed, beautiful building. Come out of your apartment door, head out of the building, literally a few steps and you are on the beach. Each apartment has sea views, beautifully furnished and huge windows allowing the daylight in to your apartment.
The building is grand and quite imposing on the seafront, and a short stroll from the harbour. Taking in the boats in the glorious marina whilst having your lunch or a morning coffee is a short stroll away from Granville Marina.
Ramsgate is gorgeous seaside town with the only Royal Harbour in the UK, a high speed train from London St Pancreas (1hr 17mins) and an international airport which connects you with Schipol, Holland. You will find the most amazing beach walks, lined with white cliffs and south facing. Foodies will love the range of eateries offered in both Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate. The Old Town in Margate offers great shopping for vintage lovers and the new Turner Gallery is a haven for lovers of art and culture. If you are travelling with children, a trip to this area is not complete without seeing the Museum in Quex Park.
This property is good for those who want to be as close to the sea as possible. Whether you want to watch the sea glistening under the sun's glare or you want to take it in as it rises from low to high tide, running through various states of volatility and excitement. The sea is a beautiful spectacle to regard.
This building is perfect for travelling couples coming down to this corner of the world as a group of couples, a family of six, 2 people or even someone travelling alone. The building's apartment are arranged such that most parties' accommodation requirements can be met.
The apartments are spacious, have great views out to sea and have all of the modcons you and your party will need.
The property benefits from being on the seafront and having amazing views from almost every room.
This property has the added benefit of parking. There is a private car park available for the use of the guests and this is a major plus in a town where parking can be tricky.
Deposits are non-refundable and represent 30% of the booking. If your arrival date is more than 8 weeks away we will ask for a 30% deposit and then the balance payment 8 weeks before your arrival. Once the balance has been paid you are liable for the entire cost of your stay in the property. If you cancel within the 8 week period we will endeavour to re-let the property. However, if we cannot re-let the property you remain liable for the entire cost of your stay. If re-let, you will be refunded 70% of the total cost. Security deposits are a £250 pre authorisation, this is a shadow on your card in case of any damage is incurred to the property. If damage is caused to the property, you will be informed of the damage and the cost and your card will be charge to cover the cost of the damage.
It was everything we expected. The apartment was spacious and well decorated. Beds were comfy; equipment adequate. Best of all was the proximity of the sea so we really could listen to the waves. Great for getting to sleep. We loved our stay there and will probably return.
Stayed in Jacob's Ladder property and the view and accommodation was great. Rooms all have amazing sea views and very spacious for families. Our children loved the space and made a den in the walk in wardrobe that was huge.
Would recommend for a short family seaside break.
Can't fault the property. Clean, modern, great facilities and location.. Fantastic base for our family mini break.. My only criticism would be that no one replied to my emails via the home and away app about a late check out and they left a minimal amount of toilet roll which was a bit annoying.. It barely got us through to Saturday evening. But apart from those two small things our stay was amazing and I think my sister is looking to book the same apartment for some time in Easter as I have raved about it to her..

Stayed here for an end of year break with friends. We were all very impressed by the location - a stone's throw from the sea with open views along the coast. The property is a gorgeous period building that sits in a quiet spot on the Marina, great for walks or watching the world go by from the comfort of the sofa.
Also impressed by the quality of furnishings, fittings and decor - all new and modern, with all the home comforts you need - huge TV, wifi, dishwasher, washing machine, decent oven and microwave, kitchen equipment and generous size mugs/bowls. Dishwasher and washing machine tabs, soap, shampoo and towels all provided. The cleanliness is excellent and everything shines.
Beds very comfortable and lovely clean linen, plus soft towels. Slept well and could not hear other guests in the building - solid walls! And despite very windy, wet and stormy weather on new year's day, we felt safe and cosy although only metres away from the sea wall.
Would highly recommend this apartment/property to anyone staying in Ramsgate. Convenient for the town, shops, bars and restaurants. And for those without a car, the Loop bus is just a short walk away - takes you to the rail station, Westwood Cross, Broadstairs and Margate. And if you like a good walk, we recommend a leisurely stroll to Broadstairs along the beach (about an hour) with stunning views.

This beautiful property is situated on Ramsgate Sands, just steps from the beach, this really is a one off location. With the doors open you can listen to the sound of the sea, proven to help you relax and even sleep better!
Thanet is renowned for the quality of its beaches, and Ramsgate has some of the best in the area. Ramsgate Main Sands, situated a stone’s throw from the Royal Harbour, has been awarded a Blue Flag – a tribute to the cleanliness of its water, its safety record and its range of facilities. Hire out a deckchair and dig your toes into the soft sand.
On the seafront you will find Ramsgate Marina and the Royal Harbour. The area, surrounded by stunning Georgian and Victorian architecture, is a hive of activity.
After all this activity, sit back and embrace Ramsgate’s café culture. Relax in one of the sea-facing cafés or restaurants, watching the boats come and go in the marina and admiring the skies that J.M.W Turner described as the loveliest in all of Europe.
