This property is known to us, and you hopefully if you come to stay here, as Seachange. We have 5 apartment in this glorious building called Granville Marina and this apartment is located on the ground floor to the right hand side of the building as you look at it. It is apartment 2.
It is arranged over one floor and upon entering you find yourself in the apartment's hallway. Turn right and you enter the living space which is open plan and accommodates the kitchen and dining space also. There is a TV with all Freeview channels provided through a satellite dish as well as a fully functioning aerial system as back up.
Turn left upon entering the hallway and you'll first pass the standard double bedroom, then the master double with ensuite is located to the rear of the apartment. At the end of the hallway is the family bathroom with bath and shower. The property is spacious, light, comes with lots of storage and is secure. We have a full fire alarm system and CCTV building-wide.
You are moments away from the beach in the well-apppointed, beautiful building. Come out of your apartment door, head out of the building, literally a few steps and you are on the beach. Each apartment has sea views, beautifully furnished and huge windows allowing the daylight in to your apartment.
The building is grand and quite imposing on the seafront, and a short stroll from the harbour. Taking in the boats in the glorious marina whilst having your lunch or a morning coffee is a short stroll away from Granville Marina.
Ramsgate is gorgeous seaside town with the only Royal Harbour in the UK, a high speed train from London St Pancreas (1hr 17mins) and an international airport which connects you with Schipol, Holland. You will find the most amazing beach walks, lined with white cliffs and south facing. Foodies will love the range of eateries offered in both Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate. The Old Town in Margate offers great shopping for vintage lovers and the new Turner Gallery is a haven for lovers of art and culture. If you are travelling with children, a trip to this area is not complete without seeing the Museum in Quex Park.
This property is good for those who want to be as close to the sea as possible. Whether you want to watch the sea glistening under the sun's glare or you want to take it in as it rises from low to high tide, running through various states of volatility and excitement. The sea is a beautiful spectacle to regard.
This building is perfect for travelling couples coming down to this corner of the world as a group of couples, a family of six, 2 people or even someone travelling alone. The building's apartment are arranged such that most parties' accommodation requirements can be met.

This property has the added benefit of parking. There is a private car park available for the use of the guests and this is a major plus in a town where parking can be tricky.
Deposits are non-refundable and represent 30% of the booking. If your arrival date is more than 8 weeks away we will ask for a 30% deposit and then the balance payment 8 weeks before your arrival. Once the balance has been paid you are liable for the entire cost of your stay in the property. If you cancel within the 8 week period we will endeavour to re-let the property. However, if we cannot re-let the property you remain liable for the entire cost of your stay. If re-let, you will be refunded 70% of the total cost. Security deposits are a £250 pre authorisation, this is a shadow on your card in case of any damage is incurred to the property. If damage is caused to the property, you will be informed of the damage and the cost and your card will be charge to cover the cost of the damage.
had initial problem finding building because on directions we were advised it was a white building but it was a cream/beige colour. Once there however we were very impressed. We stayed in apartment 2 and the accommodation was very good, clean and large. There is an ensuite in one of the two bedrooms and a separate toilet and bathroom at the end of the corridor. You stepped out of the apartment and just across the road was the beach (as we were in a cul de sac there was not a lot of traffic) and it was nice to waken each morning to the sound of the sea.
Had an initial problem in finding the building because we were advised it was a "white building". Having passed it once and then travelled around Ramsgate for a while we passed it again and saw the name on the side of the building which was a cream/beige colour and not white! Our apartment (apartment number 2) was on the ground floor and was very spacious and clean. All rooms were large and we were very impressed with the general layout. One of the bedrooms had an ensuite and there was an additional bathroom with toilet at the end of the corridor. Just outside the front door and across the road was the best beach in Ramsgate. All of Ramsgate's attractions were within a short walking distance and it was easy to get to other resorts such as Broadstairs (we walked there along the beach for most of the way but could not return on foot along the beach because the tide came in) or Margate by either car or bus.
Great apartment, very clean and spacious. Lovely view of the sea. A 10 minute walk along the front to the harbour. Plenty of places to visit. Canterbury cathedral is a must.
A note for the owner, bath mats in shower and bath would help us AOP's from slipping.
Wir waren eine Woche in Grandville Marina. Die Wohnung war genau nach der Beschreibung. Die Lage direkt am Meer war wie beschriebn und fantastisch, denn man konnte direkt aus der Wohnung zum Stand gehen. Beim Frühstück oder Abendessen konnte man den Schiffen auf dem Meer zusehen. Wollte man die die Stad,t um noch Besorgungen zu erledigen oder einfach nur Abends den Pub besuchen, so war der das ohne Auto zu Fuss sehr schnell zu erreichen. Freizeitmöglichkeiten gibt es direkt neben der Haustür, wenn man z.B. die Tunnel von Ramsgate besuchen möchte. Alles in allem würden wir auch ein nächstes Mal gerne wieder kommen.
This beautiful property is situated on Ramsgate Sands, just steps from the beach, this really is a one off location. With the doors open you can listen to the sound of the sea, proven to help you relax and even sleep better!
Thanet is renowned for the quality of its beaches, and Ramsgate has some of the best in the area. Ramsgate Main Sands, situated a stone’s throw from the Royal Harbour, has been awarded a Blue Flag – a tribute to the cleanliness of its water, its safety record and its range of facilities. Hire out a deckchair and dig your toes into the soft sand.
On the seafront you will find Ramsgate Marina and the Royal Harbour. The area, surrounded by stunning Georgian and Victorian architecture, is a hive of activity.
After all this activity, sit back and embrace Ramsgate’s café culture. Relax in one of the sea-facing cafés or restaurants, watching the boats come and go in the marina and admiring the skies that J.M.W Turner described as the loveliest in all of Europe.
