The ground floor is bright and inviting, with a spacious living room provided next to a stylish separate dining room and a fully-equipped kitchen. The flow to both rooms makes the cottage ideal
for relaxing and entertaining, with a chic nautical twist providing a befitting ambience to this modernised coastal holiday home.
Guests can easily unwind to the stylish deckchair striped sofas of the living room, with a flat screen TV, DVD player and WIFI access to enjoy alongside the romantic warmth of a wood burning stove.
The dining area boasts the perfect venue for enjoying local produce in any season, with another rustic wood burning stove ideal for the autumn and wintertime. The chunky dining table and coastal touches also set a stylish tone to the room, whilst making it presentable for both relaxed meals and also for hosting more special occasions.
Leading on from the dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen offers all the necessary must-haves for a comfortable self-catering stay. An electric cooker hob, oven, full size fridge freezer as well as a dishwasher and washing machine assure that even the busiest of families are catered for.
The small but sunny paved courtyard garden is perfectly befitting for a seaside stay, with whitewashed walls offering an illuminating Mediterranean-style back drop to the pretty sitting and alfresco dining area.

The coastal path from Flushing to Mylor offers the opportunity to enjoy an idyllic sea walk, with its great cafe and restaurants and a wealth of water sports in the yacht harbour make Mylor a well worth place to explore.
A frequent passenger ferry service from Flushing also operates to the popular seaside town of Falmouth and then on to St Mawes, Trelissick and Truro.
The historical Pendennis Castle and the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth offer some great distractions, whilst visitors can enjoy lazy days on the nearby family-friendly beaches, a day trip to

Flushing is known to be one of the warmest villages in the UK because it has an idyllic sheltered south-facing aspect. It has pretty quiet streets lined with pastel coloured terraced fisherman’s cottages, and surrounded by beautiful unspoilt surrounding countryside.
Many Cornish villages have become over crowded with tourists, but Flushing is much quieter, even during peak season, and it still benefits from a strong and vibrant community.
A passenger ferry runs a regular service between Flushing and Falmouth. It also connects with the ferries to St Mawes, Mylor, Trelissick and Truro. In summer the Fal River boats offer trips to the gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan, and onwards to Truro. A local water taxi service also runs around the bay.
Flushing has two friendly pubs, a stunning seafood restaurant located on the quayside, and a well-stocked friendly shop. It also has a Sailing Club that welcomes guests, and it’s own year round dog-friendly beach.

A 25% deposit is required to secure bookings. Balances are due 8 weeks before arrival.
Weekly changeover day is Saturday.
An additional charge of £25 per dog per week will be applied where appropriate.
