12 Alexandra Road - a family house that sleeps 4 guests in 3 bedrooms

12 Alexandra Road is a bright and well presented family house close to the heart of the historic city of Chichester, West Sussex. With views over one of the city's well maintained parks, it is great for anyone looking for a comfortable holiday home within walking distance of many of the great shops and amenities in Chichester and a base from which to explore the area.

After entering through the colourful front door, there is a bright and airy sitting room which has a TV with DVD player. Wi-Fi internet access is also available. The main feature of the ground floor, however, is the wonderfully spacious kitchen and dining room. With its vaulted ceiling, country-style kitchen units and large windows overlooking the rear garden, this is a great space for family meals and entertaining. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher, 5 ring hob, double oven, fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is also a modern shower room on the ground floor.

On the first floor, there are 3 bedrooms. There is a good sized double bedroom which offers plenty of storage space and views over the park. There are 2 further single bedrooms, one looking out over the park and the other overlooking the rear garden. The stylish family bathroom has a shower over the bath and a heated towel rail.

Outside, the rear garden has a lawn and patio area. To the front of the house there is off-road parking for 1 car. Directly opposite the house is New Park, which is ideal for the kids to have a run around or to enjoy a gentle stroll around the park and the war memorial in Litten Gardens.

We stayed here for 2 weeks when we first moved to the area. It is very well equipped with everything you need. Very spacious, bright kitchen, comfortable beds, very clean and bathrooms are nice as well. You are within a 5 minute walk to the town center with tons of restaurants and shops, which is very convenient. There is also fast WiFi and one parking space in front the house. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this house as a wonderful vacation rental!
